★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station is currently being redesigned, however the new layout is not quite access friendly.
Ideally City of Calgary / Calgary Transit should have included this under the downtown free transit zone with the help of CS - Calgary Stampede to promote the restaurants, shops and businesses on 17th Ave, to encourage public to use transit due to its close proximity to Pubs, Breweries, Casinos, Stadiums.
Every year this venue draws thousands of people from across the globe. This station is definitely not UpTo the required standards.
Parking: Paid parking available across the street - Not covered, Not heated.
Design: Poor.
Access: Not convenient
Safety: Extremely Sketchy because of the close proximity of Alpha House watch your step there are needles, syringes, filth everywhere.
That's the reason to pull down the foot over bridge as it was always smelly and drug users hub.
This makes it quite risky for the students of the surrounding schools who use this station on a daily basis!
Disabled friendly access: Not really easy, though it has ramp access.
All season friendly: No
