★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good for a military mess, they are trying out new vegetarian dishes most days which is a nice change from pasta and sauce. They also have soy milk most days which is appreciated. The staff is always friendly and kind.

For institutional food, it was better than some hospitals and less inspiring than many long-term care homes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vicker's Dining hall was nice. You have to show your military ID to enter and then wash your hands. The menu is on large screens while you're waiting in line to get your food so you can ponder your choice. Currently, due to covid precautions, there are clear dividers on the tables for physical barrier protection. Then, when you're all done eating, you put your food tray on the rack on your way out and leave.
