Vic Park Dental Dr.Gharai

Love visiting this office, everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable, would definitely recommend Vic Park Dental to anyone looking for a dentist in the Scarborough or North York area.

It's unfortunate to be this dentist's first negative review however after my extremely negative and unfair experience recently, I'm left with no choice but to warn others. I've been visiting Dr. Gharai since 2019 after reading glowing reviews on here. I appreciated the office's cleanliness, and friendliness of most (not all) of the staff. However, a few things have always bothered me. i.e. Resting tools on my chest as she worked on my teeth (extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable), arriving to appointments early or on time only to wait 20-30 minutes w/o explanation to start, and her filling nearly ALL of my molars claiming "huuuuuuge" cavities, though I didn't feel a thing, ever. Finally the last straw was the cancellation of my appointment when I was running a little late but was only 10 minutes away (first time running late, and I courtesy e-mailed in advance to warn them). I guess it's fine and dandy when patients need to wait but no one can make Dr. Gharai wait. I suspect this may also have to do with the fact that since all my teeth are filled, and I now have insurance, I couldn't be swindled anymore. Edit: Something I didn't mention earlier (and a reply to the response below) when I was called to have my appointment cancelled and mentioned that I was only 10 minutes away, the receptionist said exactly this: "I can't [keep the appointment] I have patients waiting."... No apology, explanation, or anything. Convenient how I get this lengthy explanation citing COVID restrictions only after posting a public negative review. I suppose Dr. Gharai thought I wouldn't reply back and state the facts. This is becoming an even funnier joke.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I would never go anywhere else. They are so professional and super clean. The receptionist Ed is also great and is always available. I trust them always with my oral health!

I have been to many dental offices in my life and Dr Gharai's Vic Park Dental is by far one of the most professional, clean and courteous offices I have visited. The amount of care she has for her patients' well being is equally matched by her attention to detail and keeping her patients safe. Thanks Dr Gharai for all you do and to all the team at Vic Park Dental. I am sure to visit again and recommend my family and friends.

My family and I have been Dr. Gharai’s patients for over the years and we are extremely happy with her knowledge, patience and competence with transpires with each visit. The staff are also very professional and friendly. I’m very afraid of dentist however, the overall experience makes me go back again and again. Caring, knowledgeable and professional is how I describe my experience at Vic Park Dental. Dinah has been my dental hygienist for many years and I will not go anywhere else or have anyone else clean my teeth as not only does she do a great job with my teeth, she has always been understanding of my nervousness with dental visits. Dr Gharai and the rest of the staff are all friendly and professional, with a clean office in a great location, I would recommend Vic Park Dental .
