It’s a mad house...specially the supervisor he knows nothings I don’t rembr his name and the lady Harvinder she thinks she the boss ..she is the mastermind of all..evn the supervisor does wat evr she says..so to keep ur job safe you have to please that mad lady .if she’s happy with you ..your job is safe..other wise ur are fired..full of politics..worst place to wrk ..

VF Imagewear is a huge apparel manufacture, perhaps the world’s largest with some of the best known brand labels in the world. This review is about one of their product lines “Timberland”, it is in the outdoor segment of the portfolio. Timberland makes and markets work boots as well as many other products. Timberland PRO Workwear marketing suggests this is a top of the line “superior quality” product. I am writing about my personal experience with the Timberland PRO Boondock 8” Comp Toe Work Boots with a MSRP of $310.00 ; $350.00 out the door with taxes. I thought I was was purchasing a top rated work boot like a “Redwing” boot, I was assured by the sales person this was one of the best work boots that they sold. The Tiimberland PRO Boondock boot was sold on it’s best features; Anti-Fatigue Technology, Comfort Guarantee, Waterproof leather and membrane as well as a Vibram outsole. I only wear or walk in these boots for a very limited time during my work day, I am a highway transport driver, therefore the boots are used behind the wheel for many hours. The boots were never exposed to chemicals, oils or other corrosives. They were not exposed to excessive dirt, mud or other natural debris that would break down or deteriorate the leather. The first pair of boots from new leaked water all along the stitching at the sole and across the top of the top cap. My light coloured socks were black, soaked with water, I got a replacement pair of boots and brought them home. Before wearing the brand new boots I stuffed crumpled newspaper into the bottoms of both boots, set them in water about 3” deep (more water and they float”) for two hours. I pulled them out of the water and removed the newspaper which was soaked, not just damp but dripping wet along the outer edges of the newspaper. How could Timberland possibly make a solid claim of “waterproof” ; waterproof leather, waterproof membrane. These boots would not even be considered water resistant! You could not use these boots in any outdoor activity such as a mail delivery person and wear wet boots/feet for 8 hours. These boots are comfortable and the Vibram Outsole is very good in all conditions but the boots are definitely NOT OUTDOOR rated, maybe a factory or warehouse or other indoor environment. My suggestion look for another work boot, I can not recommend these boots if I would not purchase them again. I will go back to Redwing boots. PS. I have other friends at work with Timberland Boondock boots with the same problem.

They let me go due to an injury obtained at work. A report was made. WSIB called today. Disgusting treatment. Not recommended to work there. I also have proof of an employee telling me "I want nothing to do with your injury, leave me out of it. This is a liability for me" well ok then. A report has been filed.

Nice clean environment, great people but the supervisors don’t care about there employees because they’re easily disposable. By that I mean they don’t care how hard you work as an individual because all they care about is pushing production. And if you don’t make the numbers by the end of the month (receiving) they will let go of some people. Goes through a lot of temps..
