★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent a week at Vermillion Bay Lodge in the summer of 2016. The weather was really bad and the fishing wasn't that hot, but you can't do anything about either of those things. On the other hand, the cabins, boats, and facilities were in A+ shape. You couldn't ask for a better host than Gord. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

The cost is a bargain compared to all other resorts I've been to. The fishing is amazing and Vermilion Bay on Eagle Lake is incredilby beautiful. The Musky week was a lot of fun and Gord & Susanne are great hosts. Eagle Lake is a beautiful lake and has lots of fish in it. It's large water so you want a GPS. Mike used his boat the docking facilities were good with electricity to charge your trolling motor readily available. Great spot to have a great time.
