What a delicious mixed plate of curried and stewed proteins and stemmed veg. A wholesome vegetarian takeout lunchbox. So much flavour, so many textures, and even better with the habanero. Definitely a hidden gem in Kensington market.

One of the best meals I've ever had in Toronto - and absolutely the best Carribean food I've had anywhere! The seitan and curry are SO good, and the small is enough for 2 meals if you're not super hungry. I got the meal but instead of rice I got the roti skin on the side (ask for a roti unwrapped) and it was delicious. The pic isn't so good but my god... I'd move back to Toronto for food like this! Great spot, place to eat outside and the inside is lovely too. Thank you so much!!!

The deliciousness hits you before you even walk in the door. The aroma permeates along Baldwin and it is one of the best parts of living in Kensington. Hands-down best roti in the city. Their colourful chopped hot sauce packs a serious punch. While I haven't visited in a minute since their new hours are a little difficult for me to make it in, I always recommend this spot to my vegetarian and vegan friends. They also paint a lovely sidewalk mural every year, a nice touch for artists and art lovers alike.

I’ve noticed in recent times that the price has gone up and the portions are getting smaller/stingy. So much so that the last time I went there, I basically got a dish of steamed cabbage with the curry as a side condiment - like 3 tablespoons or so. And a few pieces of inedible hard dried plantains. So I went back and pointed it out and showed my large “meal” The girl behind the counter added another tbsp of curry and sarcastically said she’s glad I enjoyed it. Actually, no I didn’t enjoy paying $17 for flavourless shredded cabbage and a few tablespoons of curry. I ended up throwing it out… who wants to eat cabbage as a “meal” especially when it’s been served with attitude. Maybe if they had accurately labelled it as a steamed cabbage bowl with curry as a condiment (instead of protein meal topped with veggies) I wouldn’t have paid and wasted money for it and this issue would not have occurred.

My husband and I saw this place and decided to try it. You instantly see the Chef working with fresh ingredients and it was nice that ordering came with a mixture of everything. The food was amazing!!! We're always so dissapointed that vegan food outside is either pure junk food or it tastes very commercial/unhealthy. We got the roti and a large sized meal, and amazing!!!' The first time I ate vegan food outside my own home where the food had love, flavour and tasted like it was made the moment we ordered it! Loved the colours in our meal and the curry was fantastic!!! We are so happy we found this place randomly and gave it a try!

Unassuming from the outside, inside one is treated to a warm, colourful, and happy environment. It is clear that the staff love being there, and that love transfers over to the delicious meals served there. The attention to quality fresh ingredients assures you that your money is well spent. Without asking, I was treated to a free sample that helped me make my decision - the soup of the day was amazing and had a very unique flavour profile. I can't wait to be back to try some of the other dishes offered. If you want to eat somewhere that will uplift your mood, spirit, and health, Veggie D'Light is the place to go. A great addition to the community, and I hope they continue to prosper.

I had tried visiting this place a few months in the past month and realized their hours, but it was well worth the wait! I loved the food and atmosphere of this place. It was quite busy when I arrived with people coming and going and once I tried the food, I can see why. You can tell they are hard workers with this business to put out some special food here. My girlfriend and I ended up getting the large box meal (It had a little bit of everything) Highly recommend if you're in the Kensington area. It is a laid back place just on the outside of the busy part of the area which I like a lot.
