We have dealt with Vancouver Gas Fireplaces for all of our heating needs for many years .The staff is knowledgeable , friendly and very accommodating. We own 2 valor Gas Fireplaces and couldn’t be happier with them. I highly recommend VGF without hesitation for all of your fireplace , BBQ and service needs.

I called about information for a MORSO free standing woodstove. The lady I spoke to mumbled on the phone and was not helpful at all. I wanted to speak to a technician, or someone who could answer a few questions for me. She recommended I search online for the answer. I own 3 businesses, including Vancouver's must trusted chimney service company. I am proud to say that she, or anyone like her, DO NOT work for our companies. To the management.......GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SELECTION. Number 1....I did not call for parts. I called and asked to speak to someone who could answer a quick question for me. I was told to go online and look for the information. The whole process was very frustrating. Secondly. Your employee was mumbling. I'm sorry, but that is the fact of the matter and she was also unhelpful and seemed confused about a simple request. Your choice to hire an hearing impaired individual is commendable, however it does not make my experience lessoned. I assumed that the person who called me not once, but twice was you, the author of your response to my review. I told you twice, that I resolved the matter on the first call. You insisted on speaking with me. I thanked you for calling and hung up. You called me back, I'm sure to engage in conversation about something not related to a MORSO wood-stove. I think your human resources dept. should consider candidates a little more wisely. I thank you for taking me off your referral list. Sorry, but you never made it onto my list of tradespeople. Good day. Oh, a footnote.....This company is also a sunsidiary of Kirkland Heating and Cooling. I am not the only person that has had a problem the hearing impaired receptionist with an extremely bad attitude. Playing the HEARING IMPAIRED CARD is disgusting. She is politeness impaired, just like the other receptionist ( enabler ) and Barney the clown.

If there were zero stars, they've more than earned them! They charge more than most for servicing a fireplace and couldn't fix ours and quoted us over $1500 in parts with no guarantee that any of them would fix the problem. They refused to hear our feedback and frustration with their inept technician. We called the manufacturer and a nice lady walked us through what could be the problem and it was a loose connection - how is it that these guys supposedly serviced our fireplace but didn't clue into a loose connection? Very disappointing and not recommended.

5 stars! My Valor receiver was malfunctioning and Sasha helped to show me that the unit could be repaired and replacement was not required. Highly recommend!

Three LOPI units have been installed in a finished home which make it technically challenging. Like any projects, unforseens and delayed deliveries can happened. Despite all of them, the final results are perfect! Nothing has been damaged inside or outside the house, and even with scaffolding. Installation crew has great craftmanships. Good Job VGF!! Our home is now cozy and comfortable. :)

Full disclosure. I haven’t actually bought a fireplace from these guys. I have been toying with the idea of changing my gas fireplace for a couple of years. My current fireplace is very old - one of the first types installed in Vancouver condos - so it was a challenge trying to figure out what if any of today’s style fireplaces would work. But Vancouver Fireplace provided excellent customer service to help me figure things out. VF sent someone to my home to check things and then they were able to show me which options would work in my situation. My contact, Martes, explained what was involved in replacing a fireplace, which was very helpful to my decision making process. In the end I decided to stick with what I have for a few more years. When I do make the change, I will be going back to Vancouver Fireplace.

We are very happy with this Valor G3.5 fireplace. It is beautiful and gives a lot of heat to the living and dining rooms. The installation went flawless; Jack, gas installer, was very professional, you can see that he has done this for many years. He took his time and did the fantastic job, paying attention to little details, we could not be happier. Vancouver Gas Fireplaces is the place to go, I am now thinking of getting another fireplace for the family room, just so pleased with the outcome.

We couldn't be happier with our first fireplace installation that we have decided to proceed with another fireplace. Installation went well as expected. Due to our unique fireplace opening we had Vancouver Gas team came up with alternate solution which unitized space we had. Glad we have listened. Model was installed Chaska by Kozy Heat. We had an end result that worked for us. Highly recommend to contact them first regarding your gas fireplaces.
