β β β β β Vancity on Fraser and 4th in my experience is friendly and they seem to work hard at customer service. They seem to get swamped every now and then but the tellers just keep on and are friendly and helpful to every customer,no matter the crowd. I use the online service a lot and there also I have been treated very well. I am disabled and a senior so that kind of understanding is very important.
Thanks Van city for being inclusive and community oriented...not just in advertising...you are what you say you are. Thank you and keep up the good work.

β β β β β I think Vancity is a decent organization and I like their community investment but-- I'm not sure why but this particular branch, the tellers have given me wrong information MANY times. From saying I can't make an international money transfer, to telling me I have to wait 4 weeks for cheques to arrive in the mail and not telling me about emergency cheques - it seems to be a training ground for inexperienced tellers? They are friendly and everything, they just don't seem to have good information about vancity policy and procedures if it's anything beyond a simple transaction..

β β β β β I want to thank Megan, Darcy and The Manager of VanCity Fraser St. Branch for helping me get back my car which was inadvertently trapped at the Victoria Drive Branch parkade. What a wonderful feeling to know that there are people who are willing to extend a helping hand. Thank you so much.

β β β β β I am gradually transferring my banking account from another bank to this Vancity branch. They set an appointment for me with the branch account manager Eddy and she assisted my family to open a few bank accounts as well as 4 credit cards for us. She is very accommodating and answered my concerns thoroughly. She never pressured me to take other services that I don't need and gave me advice to the type of credit card account that suits my family's need. I highly praise her effort in making me a highly satisfied Vancity customer. I won't hesitate to recommend her services and this Fraser st. branch as well to friends and others looking for a better banking experience.

β β β β β On Sunday evening I went to the branch to conduct a transaction to which I made a huge withdrawal in two parts as it was above the limit offered. Fine. To my surprise there was one bite that was partial, so I contacted the bank to which the agent was very apologetic as she informed me that it was a rare incident. I was asked to return to the branch to have a replacement bill. Great. I got to the branch and was told it could not be done as the bank just closed and the staff told me to go to any bank as they will honour the bill replacementβ¦. Wasted time driving back to this branch to which the actual bill came from.
