Valour Place is essentially the same concept of the Ronald McDonald House but for the families of military members, firefighters and policemen while a family member is in Edmonton for an appointment/emergency/ect... We had to use this amazing resource during Christmas as my father had a heart attack and was transferred to Edmonton. We spent our Christmas week at Valour Place and the hospital.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic place! Our stay was short but fantastic. My only complaint was: our room being on the open side to the road, traffic was a bit loud but I am a light sleeper so that could just be me ?
