★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the trailhead for the Slocan-Evans trail. Excellent trail along Slocan Lake, beautiful views and a multitude of swimming spots, fantastic day hike 7.5 km, suggested time 2.5 hours. Parking is available on the east side of Slocan River in the village of Slocan. At the end of this hike you reach Evan's beach/creek. From there you can access another 10 km of hiking that takes you into the park to Beatrice lake with other sites along the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to park on the east side of the bridge and then walk to get in the the trail. There is a lot to explore after the first 7.5 km to attend Pebble Beach. We were headed to Emerald Lake but we didn't make it since it's still winter and we weren't sure which way go to stay on the trail.
