★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks a little run down but thats the nature of a town in South Saskatchewan. Pretty good selection, though not safe for the vegans! We had 2 club sandwiches w/ fries and a bowl of wonton soup. Its hard to mess up a Club sandwich, and the VMH delivered well on that front. The fries have a nice crisp outer and were as expected on the inside. Would have again.
The soup was great, seemed quite fresh and was prepared nicely. Definitely recommend trying it.
Service was friendly and prompt, water check ups would be nice! Your other options in the area are slim to none so you can’t got wrong! Thanks for the good times VM

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the fried chicken, the breading was way overcooked & tasted like it was 60% sawdust and the meat was just barely cooked, no spices, the gravy was just brown water, not worth 15 bucks, the fries were ok

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small town restaurant that offers quality food at good prices. It was take out only and only cash is accepted at this time. Ate on the picnic tables outside and enjoyed very much. Had the chicken burger with fries. The burger was tasty and the fries exceptional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only give it one star because there are no minus quantities. We should have noted that it was rated the best of two places, the other being closed. Nowhere on all the reviews did it say Cash Only. Only once in the place, which was dark, dank and most uninviting, with a surly lady who would not allow my service dog, dressed as required in his jacket and harness, on the premises. Is that even legal in Saskatchewan. Regardless we left the off putting and uninviting environment and had a wonderful meal at Springs Garden Restaurant in Swift Current.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped for lunch on a Saturday, ordered 2 dinner for one. The food was tasty for small town Chinese food. We got 12 beer off sale..total was$ 80.00. Oops, I guess I need to ask the price more often, because I am guessing the 12 pack (cans) cost me 40$. Oh well, next time I am in the area I will not go back
