V-Nails & Spa - Lloydminster

I have been going here for years (when Anne and Liam ran it) but it is now under new management. I have been 3 times in the past 6 months or so hoping my experience would improve, but it got worse each time. They always seem to be working on 2 or more people at a time and instead of asking people to come back when they are busy, they rush people through in an attempt to put as many customers through as possible. They definitely strive for quantity rather than quality. The first set of nails I got done (by the owner) I was quite happy with. The second time I went, I asked for a different colour after one nail was done (as it wasn’t what I was expecting). The woman (also the owner) was very obviously put right out by this and groaned and rolled her eyes. I couldn’t believe it. I left with a set of nails I was not overly happy with as I was afraid to ask her to fix the shape, as they were uneven. The third time I went was only because I was in a hurry and they were the closest nail place (such a mistake.) I had another lady do them. She could barley speak any English and I was unable to get across to her how I wanted my nails done. My nails were completely crooked and all shapes and lengths. Pretty unbelievable as I paid a whopping $65 for them. (Way overpriced for the skill level. ) I asked for her to fix them and she attempted to and then just gave up and called it a day. I had to go to Q-Nails to have them fixed 10 minutes later for another $10. These nails started to break one by one in about 3 days. When I asked for my money back, the owner refused and said she would only fix the broken ones. I agreed but said I wanted a whole new set as I was sure the others would break soon. She literally yelled at me and interrupted me as I tried to explain why I felt I should get a new set for free...right there In the salon basically telling me it was my fault. She rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed and made a total scene. She finished my nails and stormed away without a word to me. Her and her helper talked in Korean so I couldn’t understand but it sure seemed as though they were mocking me. I am not a mean person. I just wanted a new set of good quality nails...as I paid a lot of money for them! I will never step foot in that place again. I have never been so insulted.

Didn't do the design I wanted and was rough with sanding, made me bleed. Chose the colors for me instead of letting choose. Wouldn't go back.

If I could give 0 stars I would, absolutely HORRIBLE service and my nails looked AWFUL. Never going back again.

I have been going to V-Nails for a long time, they never disappoint. The staff and so friendly and so wonderful work. You can’t beat the price and tools are always properly sanitized. They have a great selection of colours as well!

Awful experience and bad nails and they don’t refund and weren’t willing to fix my nails right after they did them. Cost way too much

The lady was sure to make time to answer the phone (which no other place did...). She was polite, friendly, and thorough. She was diligent in asking me what I wanted and doing exactly what I said. My nails were done exactly when I planned for them to be done. I would definitely go again.

Probably the best nail salon i’ve been to in Lloyd, clean work they are friendly and listen to your needs, Kim took very good care of me will be coming back for sure

Wish I could leave 0 stars! Complete waste of time and money! After paying $78.75 for a new set this is what I left with. - Uneven - Product all over cuticles and sidewalls - Magivered Ombre attempt - Wide nails - Splotchy and missing top coat - Crooked nails - All nails lifting as soon as I left -Blue hairs embedded in the acrylic Other issues: - Removed my nails with a fake nail tip - 2 different types of top coat were used and the result was SPLOTCHY -Using unclean drill bits (used) - Overall cleanliness of place I tried to speak to the owner and tell that I was not happy with them. She offered to try and fix them, but I didn't want her to because she doesn't know to do nails in the first place (Can't fool me) . I wanted a partial refund because I have to go and get these fixed somewhere else and pay more but she declined. So you are comfortable taking my money but when I am unhappy with the nails you put on, you instantly blew up! The owner mentioned something about karma coming back to me and asked why I came to her business in the first place.. (Desperation really) Because I was expressing my unhappiness with these nails, she said she was going to phone the police, for what? You have a bad attitude when it comes to customer service, you think arguing and calling down a customer is good, but its just stupid and unprofessional. You really didn't care if I posted this review so here you have it. These are the nails you let me leave with and just a brief detail of the horrible experience you offer. I have some great recommendations for places you could get educated by, let me know, or not.. I don't care HAHA.
