As a dual citizen (Canada/US) who intended to emigrate -- and recently moved -- from Toronto to the United States, there have been many complexities and idiosyncrasies in my cross-border tax preparation that Mr. Gray took major pains to analyze and resolve. Mr. Gray considered and handled all the necessary details, from my IRS-designated Form 8938 to FATCA to FBAR reporting, to collaborating closely and carefully with my Canadian tax preparer to reconcile foreign tax credits. Mr. Gray has been with me all the way, from streamlined U.S. filing that had to go back to 2012, to a decade later, with my current 2021 1040/T1 filing. What I most appreciate about Mr. Gray's efforts is that he conveys information and documentation needed with great detail, which heads off any confusion from the start. What seemed like a daunting chore at the thought of filing a US return has turned into a simple process thanks to his guidance and expertise.
