Management uses funds to build things like cat houses, food money for the residents on cat food cat traps kennels toys decor Funds to buy cigarettes for residents that can’t afford it if they’ve pleased manament Favouritism among residents, the director sits with a very select few residents and treats other residents like garbage under her feet. Uses funds for her home garden for food for her home. Management turns a blind eye to abuse on residents by staff memebers, management is verbally abusive to vulnerable ppl in their care. Management allows special privileges to residents who are abusive to other elderly residents.
Management steals funds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Urban Manor is a horrible place to work. The residents for the most part are super, with the exception of several who are catered too and given special privileges. Three of the staff are caring and hard workers but others don’t care and even bully the residents. Upper management are terrible. They play favourites, treat some staff poorly right down to using derogatory names towards certain staff. Charitable funds are not properly allocated with favorite residents paid under the table, upper management pays for personal groceries for themselves. This has been done numerous times. Overall a horrible, abusive and racist place to work. Free advice- stay away.
