I am able to take classes with students from various countries and spend valuable time. It features reasonable tuition fees, kind teachers and staff, and a cozy atmosphere.

I enrolled in March 2022 and am taking an ESL intensive course. ◎ Location: Located on the 3rd floor of a large building, it is easy to reach within a 6-minute walk from the station. There are many shopping malls and restaurants around the school, and after class you can spend a meaningful time taking a walk or going out for dinner with friends. ◎ School environment: It is not large because it is completed on one floor. Lunch time can be spent face-to-face with students from other classes. There are 3 microwave ovens, a water supply server, a kettle, and Wi-fi, which can be used freely. ▲ Class contents ・ Teacher: Assigned to an appropriate class based on total judgment of grammar comprehension, speaking ability, etc. Classes are basically developed according to a textbook called Northstar, but the details of the lessons vary greatly depending on the teacher in charge. It is a pity that there have been many personnel changes in the first month since I entered the university, and the teachers are still changing. 〇 Teaching materials: Northstar is used, and purchased when class assignment is decided. It can be used not only on paper media but also on digital editions. 〇Events: There are events every Friday. Visit nearby universities, Easter experiences (games and paint with eggs), tours to Quebec City, and more. Participation fee is required depending on the content, but I think it is good for learning about the culture and deepening friendship. However, the student participation rate is low. ◎ Staff: Very kind and feels good enough. There is also one Japanese person, and I rely on him very much because he cares about the details such as classes and daily life from before enrollment to the present. ◎ Infectious disease countermeasures: Disinfectant goods are placed at the front desk, classes and break spaces. Everyone wears masks. It is an advantage of small schools that consideration is given at the individual level, so I hope that it will continue in the future.
