★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Up the creek is one of the most welcoming places I've been to in a while. The whole property is very inviting and Martin was very accommodating in all aspects. We felt pretty safe and comfortable with the measures around the house and Martin always responded quickly to the many questions we had. If you're looking for a cozy place run by amazing people, this is it. I would've loved to see this place under different circumstances but I am sure when things get better this will get back to being a vibrant lively place to connect with others. Can't say I know of any other place on the sunshine coast that compares to this lovely lodge. Thanks for the amazing and relaxing weekend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came up planning to stay just 1 night and ended up staying 3 nights. Such an incredibly inviting and cozy lodge, with caring and attentive hosts. Really thankful for Martin, the owner, and Noa, the volunteer host, for their warm welcome during the stay. "It's OK to pass gas" when you're biking to Up the Creek Lodge! Perfect spot for biking and you get access to the tent area. It was our first time biking and camping and we can't wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ cannot say enough good things about this place. stayed in the family room with a couple girlfriends and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Fully functional kitchen, as well as a BBQ, fridge, etc. Gas fire pit was nice to sit around in the evenings and mingle, big yard for lawn games, hammocks to read a book in, free coffee and tea for the mornings. There's a general store/liquor store and beach within walking distance. Bikes were out of commission due to COVID-19. Would 10000% stay here again. Highly recommend!

It's pretty difficult to find anything negative to say about Martin's cozy spot when he really goes above and beyond to accommodate and make you feel comfortable and at home! Not to mention one of the most polite and personable human beings. You will be remissed not to have the opportunity to connect with him. What a top notch soul who really 'gets' the whole traveling and meeting new people everyday who become friends. He accomodated me last minute for an additional night and really did not make me feel like i was impeding or overstaying. I will await the day i visit again to hopefully share a breakfast with yall and take a bicycle out for an even longer sunny morning stroll! Absolutely perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upthecreek is a fabulous option for accommodations. Mel was super helpful when I ran in to a number of bike issues on my first day starting the Sunshine Coast Trail. The place is very well organized although has this great laid-back family vibe to it. Also shout out to one of the other guests - Paul who was super helpful in getting me back on track with my equipment issues Thanks to everyone - highly recommend Upthecreek Plus the gumbo restaurant just down the road is an amazing food and wine experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's such a cozy hostel. Martin (the owner) is so friendly and informative. There are nicely corners decorated with details. We stayed in the Cherry Cabin, which is so cute like a fairly hut. Good value for the price, great location near the Roberts Creek Pier.
