C	Charlie Crooks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Morning Star cabin for two nights back in March and just loved it. I wish we'd stayed for longer. The cabin is beautiful and everything we wanted from a log cabin. The views down into the valley and looking overNelson were beautiful and it was such a peaceful location. It is a bit far out of town we did walk once which was fine but we had a car and got a taxi in the evening to go out for food and drinks. But the cabin is perfect to get away from it all. There is a TV and wifi but you don't need it! switch off and enjoy the view! Its just the best! Check in is easy. Maria messaged me in the day for ETA and when we arrived she had left a friendly note, a bottle of wine and some lovely choccies! We then saw Maria the next day and she is just the sweetest person you'll meet. Happy to help with anything and gave us some tips on the area. thanks Maria! We hope to come back soon!
J	Jeff Davoren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place for our winter stop. Whole place had everything we needed, plenty of space to dry snow gear, full kitchen with appliances and a good sized bedroom. With only two of us the mezzanine bedroom wasn't required but made for a good warm spot to dry some gear. The fresh coffee beans were an amazing touch on the early starts. Small drive from town, but fully worth it for a secluded little log cabin. Can't wait to be back there!

The cabin was stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed, and everything was setup up beautifully and perfectly. Maria was so kind, the view was fantastic and the area was quiet and beautiful. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back in the future!

Hard to believe in this day and age there's places like this that can bring your world back into focus.....my largest regret is that I couldn't stay longer, but what an awesome " happy place" to dream of going next time. The cabin is conveniently located five minutes from down town Nelson, and is close to the turn off to White Waters Ski Area. The staff were all helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend!

It’s in a semi-rural residential area, only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Nelson. Maria is an excellent host. Her emails were informative and she met us on arrival, offering helpful suggestions on local attractions and activities. Nelson is a beautiful city with lots to do and great places to eat. We would definitely stay here again!
