I have used the big brand store for years, but got tired of being ignored when I picked up prescriptions, and the lengthy turnover time. At universal health pharmacy in Chestermere, they greet me by name, fill prescriptions efficiently in a timely manner, keep track of my medication needs and always treat me with respect. I would definitely recommend universal health pharmacy #5 in Chestermere, AB. Michelle Pedersen

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic team! Despite being incredibly busy with booking COVID-19 vaccinations, they always answer their phone and are so friendly and patient with questions. Their booking system is great too and I recently got my first dose of the vaccine and they worked quickly, efficiently and professionally. Thank you very much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service ! Staff is knowledgeable and caring of patients and takes very seriously their role in providing excellent health care to the public. They have reminded me of vaccination needs and given excellent counseling. Once when they were out of stock of my medication they found another pharmacy that had it, arranged for my prescription to be transferred to that pharmacy, and called me back to give me details. Amazing service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pharmacist who gave me my shot was professional and courteous, but store is filthy and crowded with garbage on the floor, damaged walls, and stacks of unopened boxes blocking exits. In a time where confidence in medical professionals is on the line, a clean and professional appearance is important. I won't be going to this pharmacy again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very sorry to leave a bad review but I have to be honest. I try to be kind to any service professional because it’s not an easy job.
Rude technician/assistant. She asked for me to provide my personal information out loud in front of other customers. She was standing about 10 feet back so I would have had to speak loudly and others would have heard my information. They were rude to another customer before me also.
Unclean and unkept pharmacy. Garbage everywhere, boxes sitting around. My God… paint the walls, take out the garbage and wash your floors. The meds are sitting on shelves behind the counter in a disarray. I have never seen any pharmacy this dirty.
Why are the other reviews so positive… I have no idea.

I'm one of two people in the pharmacy (other is just sitting waiting), and the two pharmacists have yet to even acknowledge that I'm standing right in front of them. At least say "I'll be right with you"... There's a QR code asking for reviews, so here it is. Terrible service. Not coming back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a Covid Booster shot. Place was dirty (dirt on floor, black spill in the corner, walls), boxed packages all over the shop, paint missing, DYI style repairs, odd-products and brands. Had no confidence getting my shot, but didn't want to wait another month. I now wish I would have waited for my booster because I feel worse about it after getting it done here.
The shot experience was brutal. No discussion of any kind, the person handling my injection didn't speak to me other than a word here and there or unless I forced a question. Did not get a band-aid or anything after it was done, just expected to leave. No directions on "hanging around for 15 minutes" or anything of such.
I had anxiety upon arrival and felt anxious leaving. I'm not confident the vaccine I received was A). The actual vaccine and B). handled properly. Based on how the place is run, I'm not sure if it was refrigerated and/or administered properly.
Will not be returning, ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably the grossest pharmacy/shop I’ve seen in Calgary. Extremely dirty floors and general cleanliness is very poor. There is damage on the walls, counters, and shelving. Random stuff scattered around the store and boxes on the ground all look very unprofessional.
Will not be returning.
