About United Boxing Club Inc
UBC operates on a “pay it forward” system, with members giving back to members and UBC giving back to the community. UBC has raised thousands of dollars for various local charities in the community and we continue to engage with “Corporate Winnipeg” to teach the many benefits of boxing training and competition.

UBC was established in 2006 by Ryan Savage. Ryan is a former 7 time national team boxer, with over 160 bouts including over 40 international bouts around the world. Ryan competed in the World Championships, Francophone Games and Commonwealth Games, and joined the 2008 Olympic Team in Beijing, China, as a coach and sparring partner. Ryan is currently Vice President of Boxing Canada and a partner at the law firm of Taylor McCaffrey LLP.

There is nothing United about this place. If you can work with Vitaliy you will be in good hands but don't kid yourself thinking you will be getting work from trained professional boxers here. This place is a shell of what is used to be with SJW bleeding hearts taken over the board and continue to run this place into the ground

β β β β β Their classes are suitable to every member who share different goals. I am going there to be more active and find a reason to exercise. For example i sometimes find it hard to keep up with the pace they have and they tell me its okay to stop and we can take a break when we need it. They neither push people beyond their boundries nor shame for it and i appreciate that! So far every coach and staff has been friendly and respectfull. I would have given more stars if there was :)

Coaches and members are very supportive and helpful, regardless of your goal (fitness, competitive, strength training, endurance). I came here to look for a good and healthy outlet for my mental and physical well being. Who knew that I would consider these people my family. I would highly recommend this place!

β β β β β I have been boxing at United since July and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Itβs clean, the staff are welcoming, and everyone is working hard. My coach pushes me to give my best, but does it in a positive and encouraging manner. Because of my incredibly coach Keli, I am stronger, mentally more healthy, my body is getting toned, and I feel more confident that I could defend myself if I needed to.
Whatβs most important to me is that my mental health is beginning to stabilize because I am learning to focus my attention on the present. After every session, I leave United happy, healthier and stronger.
