★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location moved and looks like it's inside a home. You have to enter a gate, climb a few stairs and ring the doorbell. Inside looks like a computer hackers lair to an espionage operation. (This is a joke of course!) Haha it was pleasant inside with friendly people.
My HP laptop wasn't allowing me to access the desktop since I prematurely interrupted it's update. When I brought it in, they kindly explained to me that it's a common occurrence but can damage/lose files since the update opens the system completely and is vulnerable to corruption if disturbed in the update process. (I had no clue about these things!)
They *may* be able to restore it completely or not.. really depends on when/how the update was interrupted. I gave them a deposit of $45 for diagnosis and if it was restored, that cost would go towards the technician work which could cost anywhere from $80-$125.
They called me the next day and said everything was completely recovered, they installed the new Windows 10 update, and it was ready for pick up! The remaining balance was $45. I'm SO GLAD it's working now and grateful to support this local repair shop. They warned me to never interrupt an update ever again... note taken :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I phoned them this afternoon, this lady doesn't sound friendly and doesn't seem to care. I decided not to deal with her and will find another store who knows how to treat their customers better. You need to learn how to be of more friendly!
