This cheesecake is not American style. It is more fluffy. Trust me, it tastes much better if you put it in the fridge for a couple days.

Had the cheesecake and it was the right kind of fluffiness. The taste was amazing with the right kind of sweetness. Prices seems to have gone up though from $13 to $15 per cheesecake.

The cheesecake is delicious. It's basically a big Japanese souffle pancake. The flavor is very egg-y. Don't expect a typical cheesecake experience.

Been wanting to try Uncle Tetsu in years so I finally did. This particular one in Robson Street in Vancouver don’t have very much menu. I thought I would be able to compare it to Pablo’s but completely different. The cheesecake was good, and sort and everything. It wasn’t like amazing. At least I tried it

First of all the cake (original) is really delicious. It tastes light and fluffy and not to sweet. You can watch some steps of how the cheesecake is being done by the the staff at the shop.

Love this place, very quick to order as they don’t have many things on the menu. They only has cheesecake both times I visited but that’s okay, the Japanese cheesecake is what I came for. The cheesecakes was very light, delightful and fresh made. I would love to try the Honey Madeleines next time. Order ID#528573

The cake presentation is perfect if you bought this in Japan this is exactly what you would get down to the paper between the cake and the box. Now the taste is very similar to the ones i have had in Osaka but the butter used here is different giving it a little different taste, this tastes on the lighter side of butter cream. Overall it's very good and i would really recommend it. It is on the pricier side for the size but it's worth it.

This fluffy goodness has easily been one of my favorite finds on Robson in downtown Vancouver. We all love a cheesecake now and then. Ones I’ve had have usually been creamy and fairly Dense but after eating this I literally thought I could fly. You could easily eat the whole pie and you’d not feel a thing. I’m looking forward to the Madeleines that they also serve next!
