β β β β β Bad experience. I came to Canada on April 2015, with no relative whatsoever. I decided to apply for a homestay at Quality Homestay. They put me into a Russian family. Really strict, uptight, food is bad (macaroni almost everyday). And I can't shower in the morning. Ridiculous rules. I contact them and they say they would refund me 1/4 of the price I paid even though I want to stay for only 2 weeks - half a month (fee is 800$/month), if my math is right, they should pay me back at least 300-400$, not 195$ :)
Stay away. If you don't want to shock yourself or your children.
