D	Derek Yip on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently had some amazing Italian food at @fioreyvr, a restaurant hidden away on 12th avenue off of Granville. Let’s get right to the highlight for us, their Antipasto! We ordered the smaller size but in hindsight we could have easily finished a larger because it was so delicious. Be sure to order it for their Arancini (a deep fried risotto ball) and their house-made Italian sausage. For the main course, we tried some of their freshly made pasta with squid and a Roman style pizza with duck. Everything on their menu uses fresh local ingredients, and we definitely were able to appreciate this in the flavor of all of our food. Also a big shout out to the staff there, the service was attentive, friendly and just plain excellent!
O	Olga Yakovlenko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a busy evening when we came for dinner at Fiore. There was a large party of at least 10, and the chef was all alone in the kitchen. As a result, the wait time was beyond comfortable levels, and when our food did arrive, it was burnt or assembled in a rush. Also, what is it with large parties that makes them totally loose any respect to other diners? Given the small space, the noise was over the top and drunken laughs didn’t create a pleasant atmosphere. It’s not the fault of the restaurant’s staff, of course, and on another day we could have enjoyed our experience more. As to the food, it was good but not excellent. We found that we didn’t really like the crumbly texture of the focaccia, but the chicken liver mousse that came with it was rich in taste and satisfying. We ordered two pasta dishes: rigatoni with lamb ragout and ravioli with ricotta and leek. Unfortunately, the lamb was too dry and the leek was burnt. When we mentioned this to our server, we were immediately passed apologies from the chef and offered desserts on the house. We politely declined as we could really see how hard the chef must have worked in the kitchen. By the time of our main dish, the large party had all their orders done, and the chef absolutely redeemed herself: the duck was prepared expertly, still tender and juicy meat and nicely caramelized skin. The whole dish was very though out, and all the flavours supported each other. We ended up trying the desserts anyway and weren’t disappointed.
S	Sheldon Ang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious! My friend and I ordered the Famiglia set, and that was a lot of food - the pasta is excellent! The only thing that made the experience awkward was the end. Server 1 was giving excellent service, and then the restaurant got busy. About 20 minutes after finishing dessert, Server 2 gave us our receipt - what made that odd was that after giving our receipt, Server 2 would normally check in on the table right beside ours, but never checked back with us. We had to wait another 10 minutes before calling a server to ask for the machine. It was nice to try this restaurant, and I see why people rave about it - for me, it's a one and done experience.

They have a great selection of wine and well crafted cocktails. Perfect date night. If you are lucky Chef Stew will bring you your dinner with an explanation of what you are about to enjoy!

Definitely recommend letting the chefs decide for you, they know what they're doing and everything is delicious! Sitting at the bar was a great experience! We'll absolutely be back to try more amazing creations!
