★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They met me for a coffee regularly during a coupla months of my active addiction. We discussed to assess my needs and they provided full directions, showed my options, had full knowledge of each treatment option then helped me choose a support planand brought me the forms to fill in order to secure all supports to go to rehab:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having Covid put me in touch with the Delivery service for my OAT. Always met either personable , professional kind outreach workers. Special shout out tho Sheila,, who was a familiar face from years at a local pharmacy. . She has a very positive vibe, easy to approach and her past work history enables her to carry on with personal relationships with clients from the pharmacy aspect. . Gaining trust ,and connecting with people afflicted with Substance use disorder, in meaningful ways is absolutely critical. . I think you may have found a gem here.... as well as all the O.W.ive seen during this time. I'm grateful for Umbrellas Society, and will be searching out opportunities for myself there. ..Thank you for being the frontline workers who are on my side. ...
