★ ★ ★ ★ ★ STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I purchased Mexican pesos at Ultimate Currency Exchange in late February 2020. When I arrived in Mexico City a few days later, I tried to pay for a meal with a 1000 peso note that i had purchased at Ultimate, and was told it was counterfeit. I went to an HSBC branch the next day, and they confirmed that the bill was a fake. When I returned home, I went to Ultimate, along with the bill and my transaction receipt. They confirmed the bill was a fake, but refused to accept any responsibility. Told me too bad, nothing we can do. They are in the business of selling currency, but won't even accept any responsibility for a problem that left me out $70.00, and they certainly dont care about customer service. A terrible experience. NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I go to Ultimate Currency on Carling Av, Ottawa to buy foreign currency. Always fast & efficient service. I had a special experience this afternoon. I gave some Canadian bills and told the teller at the counter that I have given her $ 480. She counted and told me I have given her $ 580. Loved her honesty . I was very tired this afternoon , so made an error. The name of the teller was Cathy.Ultimate Currency is fast, efficient & now I got to feel that they are very honest as well.

I always appreciate the good services they provide in their store. Their currency rates are competitive with any other currency stores in Ottawa.
