β β β β β The little cafe's is at the Airport in Smithers.
Newly renovated offers lunch and dinner with a fixed menu. I was late and they were almost at closing time but the owner took my order anyway and prepared the best Perogies ever !!Fresh hand made nothing comparable with any pierogies I had before, with sauer cream and caramelized onions. The owner was super nice, she also made an excellent hot chocolate European style that reminded me of my Country, Italy. I had a great experience. I recommend this place, it's closed on Sunday but they will have a new store hours. Even if you are not flying, just take a visit and you will be pleasantly surprised for the welcoming and specially for the food.

UFO offers serval dishes, cooked from a Ukraine back ground. The pierogies and sausages were delicious!
They also offer deserts and cafe. Reasonable prices and food is served with little wait.
Service was super friendly. The owner is down to Earth and relatable. This is what makes the experience memorable!

To make quality, delicious and generously-consistent dishes, is serially underrated in the Smithers' restaurant scene.
Passionately crafted, their food takes on traditional recipes with an unexpected flare, with attention to detail.
From local produce to in-house made garnishes/condiments,
U.F.O.'s seasoning is not only on point, but directly to it.
Congratulations on maintaining the hype (even through Takeout/Delivery).
I would've included photos, but I always eat before thinking of it!

β β β β β To find the mysterious UFO you've got to go to Smithers :) Indeed, the nation serving the twelve dishes for the Christmas must know how to feed you aweso... Owesome! What a variety, what a dedication to serving the food. Did you see a running to kitchen waitress/owner? Not walking fast, physically running! Respect Tetyana for your quality food and for your hard work. The Borscht is classic, the crepes are soo fresh and hommy, yummy. ΠΡΠΊΡΡ!

Visiting Smithers there's a lot of choices to choose from. I wanted something other than Canadian so I went with this Ukrainian cafe. They offer Ukrainian fare, crepes, sandwiches, soups, bake goods to hot beverages.
I ordered the small boris soup $6, potato and cheddar pierogies $15 added bacon $2.50 and sausage $5, cabbage rolls $15, poppy seed bun $2.50. It all added up to $50 after tax and few dollars for tips.
The food reminds me of my visit to Eastern Europe. The poppy seed bun could be better as it was dry and a little hard. The only item I didn't like along with the slightly pricey cost. Overall enjoyed my lunch there.
