The absolute most garbage experience of any rental. False promises in store, having to return a vehicle rather than a drop off for over 250kms away. 3 different days to resolve one issue of having to return the vehicle to Brampton, being hung up on by the reps. U Haul is known for One Way usage, but wants to deny a customer using a rental if they say they cannot return to the Brampton location as its over 250kms from the destination. Majority of the staff in this store are barely awake, monotone and do as little as possible; only one person was polite enough to assist with ratchet straps.

Worst experience I ever had, I booked my 10 feet truck for moving, when I went there they said they don’t have any truck right now, they told us to wait for 45 minutes then 1 hour and then then ended up waiting 3 hours. After talking with 4-5 customer care person they agree to give me a mini van at other location. As I don’t drive the car, I hired a driver. I have to pay him 100 dollars extra fir just waiting and going to other location for pick up vehicles. My old land lord start yelling at me because my stuff was still there and new tenants was there to move in, they ruined my relationship with the owner too. When we go to pick van at new location they said only the who booked has to show their license, I don’t had one, I told them that is why I hired the driver, then they said he has to show license and proof living in Ontario, he was just moved from another province. It was disaster day and worst day I ever had. I ended up all most $200 extra for driver and his gas and lot of depression. And the customer care was laughing at my situation and said its 1 of moth it happens it was normal for them. I had took day off from my work too. Thanks U haul for moving my home.

Got to love that I booked a truck about a week ago here because it's the only location that had the truck I needed, but I wake up today to an email that I now have to pick up the truck in a place that is over an hour away from where I am... and I'm moving to a place three hours away... they just added about two hours onto my trip, and that's assuming there are no hiccups. Currently, I am on hold (and have been for over twenty minutes) with uHaul because they left me a message saying to call them back, however, I keep getting tossed around to different locations and people, that is, when they do not hang up on me. The only useful location was Ottawa; even though they could not do anything for me, they offered support and to add a note on my file. I appreciated that. What was funny about that, however, was that my order already had a note claiming that a person "left a message" for me to say that my pick up location had to be changed... That's not true. I had to find out by my new reservation email. This is all very annoying and a huge inconvenience, especially because I have people helping me move, and I am now going to mess up their schedules with all this change. Update: a Montreal location helped me reach the location I needed, and though they cannot find me a truck closer, they did offer a discount. The lady on the phone was also very nice, helpful, and sympathetic.

Yesterday, on 14 April,2022 I got u haul at 6:30pm for only just one an half hour. She said when you come back please drop key in box because they would be close.I did. I use only just half an one but they deducted double basic charges. They written on bill extra hour charge $20. Unprofessional staff. When I went there and ask she said our manager did that. We can’t do anything.

I was given a truck with no fuel cap and only realized when I got home to start loading. I called right away to inform them and was instructed to return the vehicle for a replacement. When I returned the vehicle, they had an extra cap and told me it was okay to use. I was told there would be a note added to the file and I would receive a credit of $25 for the inconvenience and wasted mileage. When finally returning the vehicle later in the day, I was told there was no note in the file and that I would not get a credit. Forget my time wasted, the $25 hardly would have covered the gas and mileage fees! It was like they knew I would be too tired (after a long day of moving) and would accept it. Still shameful to treat customers like this. I will not be returning nor recommending to anyone!

Reserved a U-haul online with payment already placed, I went to their site and they turned me away stating they had no trucks available. Had to call customer service for U-haul redirecting me to another U-haul site. Later I get a call from this location saying I had a reservation placed and why I didn't come pick it up. Not only are they disorganized, I can't even determine if they were lying or telling the truth about there being no trucks available, All in all my time was wasted and this location needs to be better organized. I wont be coming back to this location.

Horrible experience. Horrible service. Went to pickup large online order for supplies after receiving the go ahead via email. Arrived there and they said it wasn't ready. had to wait 3HOURS!!!!!!!!! for the order to be ready. Arrive home, boxes are missing, and they defrauded on items. I bought XYZ large expansive box and they give me the cheap small entry level one. Contacted haul customer service, online store, all say there is nothing they can do. Store is not picking up calls, they hang up and I am transferred to reservation. I live 1h from the store. a 2h drive and most likely another insane wait. FLEE!!!! Find another store. Not worth it!

I’m glad I ignored all the bad reviews about this location. I’ve used u-haul many times, various different locations some locations have been awful, others have been pretty good, THIS place was excellent. I had no reservation but got the truck I needed (they have plenty of trucks on site). The truck was absolutely spotless inside and out. The gentleman at the counter was fast, efficient and polite. Returning the vehicle was a breeze, had me out of there in minutes. When I returned the truck, my bill came to less than I expected, but that’s no surprise as I used less km than anticipated. Plus, I returned it with more gas than it had when they gave it to me and, believe it or not, they actually gave me a rebate for that! I am more than satisfied with this location and very highly recommend them.
