★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, 5/5, will definitely be back when I'm rich to buy out their art book section. Could happily have spent hours in there JUST looking at art books or JUST looking at kids' books or JUST looking at the random features shelf. Staff friendly and, huh, seem to know a lot about books. Other cool non- book stuff too (store-branded totes etc). Really cool place to hang out until they throw you out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was seeking out gift ideas for my wife for Christmas and the folks at type books were very helpful. They are currently offering online/phone orders and curb side pickup due to Covid but the service is very fast and friendly. Definitely check them out and support a local book store!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool bookstore. Very interesting. For kitchen's lovers an excellent choice of books is available. Very pretty even the kids's section. A pleasant and colored place. Perfect for the reading lovers and passionate for those that want to have new point of view. I will go back for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the friendliest or warmest vibe from the people behind the cashier. They had witty banters with everyone else checking out but nothing with me when I paid for two books. Maybe because I’m a Queen eastender and they’re only friendly with westenders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite bookstore in the whole city is the type books on Queen west. They have a section called plotless fiction and I've never bought a bad book from this section, it's perfect. They seem to have a specialty in contemporary literary fiction, The cookbook section and the kids section are also wonderful - a very diverse and sometimes unexpected selection. Really wonderfully cared for and obviously loved.

Beautifully decorated store with plenty of great books and collections to buy from.
I love the environment!
Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a great time browsing there and since I am a book addict couldn’t get enough of this stunning store! Great place to shop and take pictures!
