We are here in Toronto for couple of months and try to find a close by school for our little boy. Before we arrive, we found DMMS in internet and it seems a decent school for a short time period attandance. First couple of weeks were quite ok, we were receiving paralel feedbacks about him with his previous school's ones. However, our experience became terrible after they changed my son's teacher and class without any notice. He started to refuse to go to the school, hid behind us while he saw the teacher at the entrance door. Administration totally ignored the situation even after we talked with them, they had no proper resolution mechanism, they took zero responsibility even they asked us what our suggestion is! I think they thought we are teachers and they are parents! We were lucky to realize the issue in two weeks after this class change happened and immediately changed the school. Now he started to a new school and extremely happy in the first week of his attandance. If you are lucky with the teacher (they have good ones, why I rate them 2 stars if not they are a real 1 star from administration point of view) and have no high expectation, probably you will be satisfied with the school otherwise I recommend you to find another school for your kids

My son has been going here since he was two and half years old and he has learnt so much in different subjects, thanks to the school and all the teachers. Everyday he is very excited to go to school. In addition to learning academic things, he is also learning french and Spanish, which is something you don't find in many schools. They also care a lot about culture, environment and value/characteristics. At this age, he can talk about global warming, and recycling - that's simply amazing, thanks to all the education he is getting.

We have had our daughter at this school for one year now (she is now 3 1/2 years old), and we can’t say enough good stuff about it! Before starting at the school we had a nanny, and while the care was adequate, there was not as much structure or stimulation as she needed. Within the first week of being at Discovering Minds, the teachers made such astute and supportive observations and suggestions about our daughter, we couldn’t believe it. With the structure and support of the Montessori program and these wonderful teachers, our little girl has transformed! She is so much more independent and confident, it is so wonderful to see how she has blossomed. There is never any fuss about things like pick-up and drop-offs, toilet training, or other issues that I have heard preschools can give parents a tough time about. Whenever there has been a challenge such as temper tantrums or other pretty normal toddler stuff, the school has never made us feel badly or vilified our daughter, but rather offered support and optimism and we have made it through a lot of challenges with their support. We can’t thank the school and its staff enough. We love them so much and we know they love and care for our girl so well, we never worry that she is not in the best possible learning environment.

I had my 2 trilingual kids at Discovering Minds and our experience was just AMAZING ! This is the only school in Toronto that I know, who provides the kids spanish classes with native professors as the same as french. And kids can practise spanish and french with the native speakers kids who attend to the school. The teachers really care in developing the potential of your kids. They detect it and put right away in place learning strategies. For example one of my kids loves geography and they taught mathematics, history and even french from geography. They help you to detect any problem that kids has, for example they alert me about my other kid was having problems with pronunciation and they were right, i received quick help from a language specialist because my kid started to stutter. They detected it on time and thanks to them we could help her to overcome it. Another very positive point was, they were very reactive regarding covit 19 pandemic. They really cares about their kids, they started to provide online classes right away. They never left alone parents with this big responsibility. They prepared special sessions for kids with special problems in maths or writing as an example. All time were available for you an interested in helping your kid to overcome this isolation and stress. These are just small examples of the great education that my 2 kids received at Discovering Minds. I recommend highly this school! Thanks a lot again for all your love to my kids!

Our children attended DMMS for 3 years and it was absolutely an amazing experience. The teachers and staff are very loving & caring - it truly had a family feel. As parents we liked the diverse curriculum the Casa & Elementary programs offered. Not only did they teach academic knowledge; they also taught our children valuable life skills. I'd recommend this school in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for a school for your precious children please look no further. I highly recommend Discovering Minds Montessori! I had 2 children enrolled here for 3 years and I am so happy to say it was the best decision I made for my kids. The teachers are so wonderful with all their children. They are amazing teachers, which is very important, but they are also so loving, kind and respectful to every child in their care, which I think is crucial for our children’s development. With regards to education, the teachers go above and beyond spending quality time with each child, pushing their boundaries but ensuring they are learning at their own pace. I would have loved to keep my children here for much longer, but we had to move due to my husband’s work. When we did move schools though it became very apparent how far ahead my children were in math and reading compared to other children their age! More importantly, Discovering Minds is very active in the community. They plan events with the children (like lemonade stands and park clean ups) to raise money for various organizations that protect forests and wildlife and clean the ocean, and they make sure to discuss important topics like these with our kids. This school has also taught my children basic life skills, like how to tie their shoes, clean up spills and messes after themselves, how to properly set the table and pour themselves and their peers a cup of milk. They have learned how to be kind to and respect all people no matter their age or race, how to solve social problems on their own and to love and take care of Mother Nature. The school also plans so many fun and educational field trips that helps keep learning exciting and fun and shows kids real life applications of what they have learned in class. I really could go on and on about Discovering Minds! We have moved from this school over 2 years ago and my kids still remember the skills they have learned here and always say things like “I learned this at the old school” or they remember their old teachers and say they miss them. So I know this school has really played a huge part in shaping their early life. I want to take this opportunity to tell the beautiful teachers at Discovering Minds how truly grateful I am for each and every one of you. You all have instilled a love of learning in my children and have helped me to raise smart, kind and caring people that will make a difference now and in their future ❤️

My son has been a student at Discovering Minds for over two years and we couldn't be happier. He started when he was 3.5 years old and we were looking for a daycare in our neighbourhood. The rates for preschool were comparable to daycare with so much more to offer. The teachers are all great academically, and adhere to the Montessori method which is important to us. So often you spend money on a product to find it falls short of what it claims to do. Not at Discovering Minds. They always go above and beyond and offer the most amazing experiences in learning. They share common values that are important to my family, such as culture, diversity, the environment, our community, equality, empathy and so much more. While academics are important when choosing a school, I think what can't be taught easily is emotional intelligence, kindness and caring. Discovering Minds embodies all these things and teachers lead by example. They don't just teach my son, but I believe they really love him. They create a wonderful Montessori family that we feel blessed to have found.

Discovery Minds has been a blessing for my twin girls. They are six now and they have been going there since they were three. Though they are twins they are very different and Discovery Minds respected that from the very beginning. They truly value each child's uniqueness. The teachers are highly qualified and accommodating. They bring out the best in the kids even when they had to do online learning. Because this school is bilingual, my daughter is fluent both in French and Spanish . The teachers here go above and beyond to take care of the children. I highly recommend Discovery minds to all parents who are seeking for beautiful learning environment for their children.
