★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little park and community centre. They convert the skating rinks into roller rinks for the summer. The community centre has lots of sports teams for children. The elementary school playground is probably not officially part of the park, but it's accessable.
Also, if you go past on a walk with your dog, they're bound to find a few tennis balls that have gone outside the fence of the courts. (And people in the neighbourhood are really good about cleaning up after their pets.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Safeway near to my house. It's ok. Since Sobeys took over it is less friendly than the Safeway used to be. More tricky deals on the shelf, buy 3 or 4 to get 1 free, or multiple alternative prices so be careful. There are some improvements in the deli section but the place is being forced to match corporate standards without being allowed to add the local touches that used to be the main reason I shopped here.
This mini mall also has a vita health with great eggs, a new Cobbs Bakery the local LC, a Rumours club and a very good veterinary clinic, they certainly took good care of my dog. There is an M&Ms for ready to heat stuff and a travel agent ... stuff like that.
