I got squeezed at the last moment and the best they could offer was insurance that cost $3800 instead of the usual $1500. I had also lousy coverage. They could not tell me how much the premium would change if i made certain adjustments. They never mailed me my policy. They never sent a renewal policy. Follow up was awful. Biggest mistake in a long time. Now back to a broker that managed to find me insurance around the $1500 mark and with proper follow up and client service.

I am terrified that we will not have an insurance binder in place for the bank mortgage before closing day! EDIT: I just spoke with the rep and a good quote was found for our (admittedly unusual) circumstance. Thank you for following up and I will amend the rating as soon as we conclude a satisfactory binder. EDIT 2: In the end, the binder was written with time to spare, and our house purchase can go forward. Thanks!

Not only did she take the time to explain our options to us, but she made sure she was always reachable to answer any questions we may had, and presented all of the necessary information and background we needed in order to make an informed decision. Not only did I use her for my car insurance, but we went back to use her for our house! Absolutely amazing. Would 100% recommend Shelby for any insurance needs!

I tried two other companies before being lucky enough to get to speak to Shelby McKeen from Trigon insurance. She's the nicest person I'd spoken to all day. It was a pleasure to deal with. It felt like family talking to me. She got my situation instantly. She's very sharp. I never bought tenant insurance before so I am very green on this. Shelby was able to get explain everything very clearly and easy to understand. Within a matter of a short time we had everything he needed. When my house insurance comes up in the spring I'm calling Shelby for sure. Please don't be afraid to talk to her, I trust her completely and recommend her for any type of insurance. Talk to her you won't regret it. I think she very sweet and wish I could have been face to face with her.

My personal broker, Shelby McKeen, is always efficient and a delight to interact with. Even if I were offered a better rate elsewhere, I do believe I'd stick with Trigon. I've never, ever, felt like a number.
