It’s so nice to meet you!

At Trickle, our number one value is to make stuff that feels good to make. This means working with amazing people starting with our clients, our team, and following through to our vendors. We have often said that we don’t want to work with anyone that we wouldn’t want to have a beer with. This has helped us to create lasting relationships with like-minded people who get us… and we get them

We love the acreage home Trickle Creek built for us! We are very particular and have very high expectations but Trickle Creek exceeded those expectations. The quality is very high, the house was finished 5 months early and the final price was on budget. The spec level was very high and saved us from having to make many upgrades. We had a great first impression of Trickle Creek and that carried on throughout the entire process. It was consistent no matter who we were dealing with. The entire team treated our home as if it were their own and went above and beyond for every aspect. Trickle Creek proactively changed things we may have never noticed. We didn't feel the need to micromanage the build as we could tell early on how organized and thorough they are. Trickle Creek had a groundbreaking ceremony for us, a possession day celebration for us, and invited us to events during the build (and after). They did a lot of little (and big) things to make our the process and finished product amazing. We would build with them again for sure and recommend them to others.

Full disclaimer: I did not use trickle creek to build a home. But I do want to comment on their lack of professionalism. We live in the neighbourhood. My wife was out walking our dog when a trickle creek branded truck sped through a stop sign as they were crossing the street. My wife reached out via email several weeks ago with her concerns. It’s now been 2-3 weeks and there has been no response or acknowledgement from trickle creek. Normally this is not a huge deal as mistakes happen. I didn’t want to write this, but it is highly unprofessional of them to choose to ignore it.

We at Nu-Way Floor Fashions have been honored to be associated with such an upstanding company as Trickle Creek Custom Homes. Their team of professionals are always available to discuss the project s we are jointly working together on. The team at Trickle Creek have been amazing partners who are continually looking for ways to improve on the processes for both their trades and customers. I am not sure how these people are with building homes, but if it’s a reflection of how the guy drove on Crowchild today holding up traffic while driving 10 km/hr below the speed limit and when he moved over to let us pass he flipped us off all wheel driving a billboard pick up truck with trickle Creek homes all over it not very professional. Sorry I didn't get the plate number, a male driver with a tattoo on his left forearm.

I do not take writing this review lightly. I spent 5 years going into Trickle Creeks' show homes and talking to their sales reps before deciding to build with them. I fell in love with the Instagram photos and marketing campaign. Well unfortunately, that is all they are. They are banking on clients that are investment bankers, doctors, optometrist, dentists, that have money but no clue how structure, grading, and drainage works in building a home. I chose Trickle Creek because we did not have time to worry about those things and trusted they knew what they were doing. A true sign of character is how one acts when things aren't going well and how you resolve those problems. This is where the owner Mike Tew had an "epic" ( a word the trickle team uses on repeat) fail. They built our house 18" too low, yet when we hired a structural engineer to confirm , Michael Tew say," Hey we build low houses, nothing wrong here". Our neighbors lawn was a foot above where our cement foundation was. The base of our beautiful huge tree on our front lawn was over 2 feet higher then our front window (tree had to be removed). My husband wanted to sue, especially when Mr. Tew said on the phone that he would win and that he knew people. The city approved our foundation site unseen because of their reputation they said. I settled because my mom had died, living with my dad at 43 was not ideal, 3 young kids, sick husband, new cancer diagnosis, and Covid amongst many other reasons. I wanted the nightmare to end. So, with a huge thick retaining wall ( concrete company went above and beyond to help us and Trickle did not pay them in full ; verbal approval but not written) tree removed /front soil graded and our fence that they called a money grab, it was done. Ironically , our lawyer who helped with the agreement, emailed me later saying his basement flooded and found out he was in a Trickle home when dealing with insurance. Fast forward 5 months. we are in the house and dealing with huge grading issue to our garage on alley and house side. Ha. They also charged us 40K for a standard garage that should have cost max 25K. We had 3 landscape designers and one engineering company look at the property and all but one, who suggested expensive landscaping, knocking out the new cement and placing dry drains everywhere, said not to touch this, go the new home warranty route or sue. SOOOO. PLEASE before you consider building with them, talk to us first, have an actual meeting with the owners and see if their true colors shine through. Trust your gut , and if you go ahead, be mindful of all the important things like, structure, drainage, grading, not just cute trendy pictures on Instagram.

The team at Trickle Creek is truly magic. The way they deliver each step of the process of building is what makes them the best. I wish I could give them 6 stars but I guess we will have to settle for 5. I highly recommend you explore what Trickle has to offer if you are in the market for a new home.

It has been a few years now in our Trickle Creek home and we have experienced little, if any, major problems. There are always minor things that come with a new home, but Trickle quickly schedules and fixes them. This is normal if you have ever built or bought a new home. The home is solidly built, and has exceeded our expectations. This extends to our garage as well. During our build, the garage concrete pour was off by JUST a bit, it was not even noticeable. I thought it was OK to leave, but Trickle themselves insisted on tearing up the entire concrete foundation and re-pouring it all again. This just showed us how much they cared to do things right. So far the basement has also been bone dry, and the sump pump has never turned on. Hope it stays this way. Other trades who have visited the home and seen the mechanical room have commented that they were impressed with what they saw. Would build with them again, but not for a long time...because this home is too awesome.

Stopped by both show homes and we were blown away! Such beautiful but functional designs. You can tell you have many options to customize and they must be very creative. The ladies there were very friendly and helpful. The place also had wonderful smelling candles haha.
