Began with a simple idea that was inspired by the miracle of the authentic Mexican taco. Warm soft corn tortillas adorned with slow braised local meats and the freshest produce.
The founders reminisced about the many days they had spent eating these delicious concoctions on a side street or near a beach, somewhere in Pacific Mexico. These same guys happened to eat, sleep and breathe their passion for the restaurant experience. The collision was inevitable.
Together, they’ve built Tres Carnales Taquería. The first of its kind in Edmonton, Tres Carnales brings you the real Mexican food experience.
Tacos, Quesadillas, Tortas and the authentic flavors of México are the foundation of this award winning concept.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here in the summer and it was a great time. Tacos were delicious, and service was fast. I kind of like the causal idea of ordering at the till and then waiting for the food. I like the vibe of the place, it is super chill and welcoming. For a casual night out this this a great pick. Excellent beer ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would love to give this place a 5 star but sadly they had multiple options on their menu that were not available. I suggest removing them from the menu or making it clear before ordering, we went there for seafood tacos of any kind or mushrooms in a taco and both options not available, might be bad luck but it felt like what we wanted wasnt available until we had to settle. The food i did get was delicious, just not what i was intending to order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had such a great experience at Tres tonight. The service was absolutely amazing. The waitress added such charm by offering a free sample of the salsas and of course a shot of tequila. We sampled the Pork, Beef and Chicken tacos and loved every bite. I highly recommend Tres if your downtown at anytime. Also thanks for the free map to walk to the Oilers game tonight!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is always busy and rightly so. The dining area is not large so prepare to wait if you are going at a popular time. The food is fresh, authentic and fantastic. I've been many times and have always been happy. I love that they collaborated on a beer brewed by Ally Kat, and its very good! I had the vegetarian tacos on my last visit ... very yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my most favourite spots in the whole am city. The food is amazing, I never feel anything but full and content. We go here before Hockey games, concerts, and escape rooms.
Best to go between 4-5 pm to ensure you get a spot!
Their deals are always changing/rotating, and honestly you will never be disappointed if you do the special.
The chips and guacamole and salsa are amazing and all made in house.
Made for vegetarians and omnivores.
The perfect local little place to enjoy!
