★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant! We came here for dinner last Friday. & the service and food was absolutely amazing! We did the dinner pre-fix menu, and we loved everything from start to finish. I would recommend booking dinner reservations way in advance!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is fabulous. I have been cooking professionally for over 15 years and I as my wife tells me it can make me rather picky. The chefs executed everything very well, the wine pairing were matched with thought and were very enjoyable and our server was just attentive enough to make everything flow and arrive on time, but not be overwhelming. Unfortunately my pictures are not the best as I was obviously focused on other things.
Prices were reasonable considering the location and quantity of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, drinks, the service and overall experience! We were greeted by Mr. Treadwell as we entered and our table wasn’t quite ready. He made us comfortable and got us some Prosecco while we waited. Once we got in, the service was terrific. The food was delicious and the sommelier helped us in pairing wine with our food. Great experience, will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've had winemaker dinners here but this was our first regular meal and our lunch was fantastic. My wife and I shared the mussels with fennel pollen which was delicious, especially the rosemary bread. For the main my wife had the lobster club and I had the tomato braised Lamb Shank. Both were mouthwatering and tasteful. For dessert we had the lemon poppy seed cake and the chocolate marquise. Both were great and not too big.
James has a huge selection of great wines. I was contemplating a Gamay or Pinot but based on James' recommendation we went with a Chardonnay from 2027 vineyards which made an excellent pairing for for both mains.
Service by Courtney was excellent. Needless to say we'll be coming back here again and would highly recommend Treadwell to anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this absolute gem of a restaurant in Niagara-On-The-Lake. We were fortunate to be able to get reservations for dinner and this place was one of the best meals we had during our visit to NOTL.
4 course prix fixe with about 3-4 different choices for each course (including dessert) and there were no misses. The salmon crudo is a must-order, no negotiation. The chicken liver parfait is a good choice for pate fans. Both the scallops and pork belly were cooked to perfection with vegetable and sauce/purée pairings that were spot on. For the mains we ordered the agnolotti- perfectly cooked and stuffed with ricotta, and the halibut which was again, cooked to perfection with a beurre blanc sauce with sturgeon caviar- only criticism was it was a bit heavy on the leeks.
The wine selection is IMPRESSIVE to say the least. We had to consult the sommelier who was exceptionally knowledgeable and recommended us a nice local Beamsville Bench Chardonnay.
Friendly, exceptional service. I suspect we will come back to this restaurant frequently on future visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gorgeous dinner! We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a four course meal and every bite was both beautiful and delicious. The staff were kind and attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed a lovely lunch on a weekday. Staff is friendly and enthusiastic about the food--and for good reason. It's widely regarded as the best restaurant in the area by locals.
The food is well prepared and presented. The beet salad with hazelnut vinaigrette was excellent and they plated separately for sharing, which was very thoughtful.
I had the lobster club, which was excellent and the portion was embarrassingly large. The sourdough is fried in duck fat and sliced very thin. This is a signature dish and not what I would typically offer but it's also very unusual.
Freshness is their hallmark. The salad on my plate was fantastic. The greens were delightful with a simple vinaigrette and a nice complement to the rich club.
The atmosphere is upscale casual. Not at all stuffy but very classy.
