We stayed at the Casablanca Cottage, big enough for ourselves and 2 other adults. The decor is cheery and exotic - no matter what the weather, it always feels like the sun is shining! There is every amenity to make you feel it is a home away from home - a fireplace in the winter, lovely gardens and outside deck for eating in the clement weather, and place for a nice drink with friends on the porch. Don is available if you need him, but we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

It's nice some of these cottages are still around. I'm getting really upset how NOTL has become really a place for rich people, primarily retired rich people and I think more of these cottages need to be preserved. It's so sad that basically a neighbourhood of them were knocked down to make room for rich people's mini mansions.

This is the second time that we have rented from Don George, we will be here for 2022 also. There is so much that I can say about the beautiful Casablanca Cottage…Location!Location!Location! The Home is well equipped and clean and full of charm. One block away from Old Town. restaurants, shopping, pubs and Theatre! People are friendly. Don is a phone call or a text away, and always very helpful. If I could give a six star Rating, I would.

For years, my girlfriends and I would rent out Casablanca Cottage for our annual moms' get-away weekend. So when I was looking for the perfect place for a family trip back home I knew exactly who to call! The Casablanca Cottage is the perfect "home away from home". It's warm and inviting interior is cozy and has all the amenities you could ever want or need. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the large front porch in the morning while watching the world go by and the beautiful garden was great for family dinners and fun evenings playing cards under the stars. The location is perfect - just one block to town. Don is a wonderful host and thinks of everything. We definitely hope to be back soon. If you plan to stay in the Niagara area, Casablanca Cottage is a great place to be. We are missing it already.

We stayed in the Marrakech Mansion over a September weekend and had a great time. The location is great, right in the old town, putting you within steps of the shops, restaurants and pubs. The Mansion itself is well appointed and a heritage home with loads of charm, especially the grounds. We enjoyed a morning coffee on the porch, an evening drink in the Muskoka chairs and a breakfast brunch under the pergola. All the amenities you need are provided, many thanks to Don for maintaining a great place including a kitchen with everything you need to make a great meal.

Our family of 6 (5 adults, 1 child) spent the week of Aug 14, 2021 here and could not have been more pleased with our stay! Casablanca Cottage is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, one block from Queen Street, just steps to all that the Village has to offer. The huge covered veranda is surrounded by beautiful gardens and was a great place to relax, chat and even take in the horse-and-buggy tours that trotted by. We spent most of our time here when at the house. The side courtyard is beautifully landscaped, private and was perfect for our BBQ dinners! The home is well maintained, very clean, comfortable and was more than enough room for all of us. Three bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice linens. Two and half Baths, soft towels the travel shampoo/conditioner and gel, were a nice touch! The kitchen is well appointed with all the essential dishes, glasses, bowls etc for our cooking needs. All appliances including Washer/Dryer and BBQ, in great working order, as was the AC. We look forward to staying here again, our next family get away!

This property dates back to around 1860 and has been lovingly restored by Don making it more interesting with a Moroccan theme. It’s warm, cozy and spacious enough for a family. We appreciated that it is pet friendly. The location is minutes away from the heart of downtown Niagara on the lake. Highly recommended!!

Once again, we returned to the little slice of paradise called the Marrakech Mansion last week. Our family has continued to rent from Don George over the past several years. Don is very responsive to any questions and concerns. The Marrakech Mansion is located in such a perfect spot in lovely Niagara-on-the-Lake. The double lot provides wonderful privacy. The house is half a block to the lake and a block to Queen Street where many amenities are located. The Mansion itself is a colorful, comfortable, cozy Victorian cottage. Don goes above and beyond in providing all the necessities. Stay in and cook a meal in the well-appointed kitchen, use the grill and enjoy one of the four outdoor entertainment areas on the property or visit one of the delightful nearby restaurants or wineries. With four bedrooms and two-and-a half washrooms, plus a living room, den and beautiful dining room, there is more than enough space to relax and unwind. I highly recommend a stay at the Marrakech Mansion. It is good for the soul. And breathe....
