★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am from Quebec, and with the way things get lost sometimes, I am always weary about ordering gear online. However, not only was Trailhead Paddle Shack the ONLY website to be carrying my preferred PFD in my size at the time; they also processed my order and shipped it out in an insanely short amount of time. Approximately two hours after I ordered, my PFD was shipped, and I even received it a day earlier than expected.
Great service, fast shipping, and a wide variety of items in stock while many other places seem to still be hit by the issues of the Covid supply chain problems. I will not hesitate to order from here again, and will be happy to spend my money in-person if I am ever in Ottawa.

They kept me up to date on the progress of my purchase and the shipping was so fast. Order placed on a Saturday and received the following Tuesday out here on Vancouver Island. Good outfit to do business with for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have now made 2 purchases from this store. I found them while looking for a dive knife for my PFD and found these guys. They were a little bit cheaper and offered free shipping with my purchase, others in the area were charging like $10 for del. The knife was shipped the next day and I got it the day after that (I'm in Toronto). I then bought a nice cooler from them on a Sunday and it was waiting for me at my door on Tuesday. No issues, fast shipping - I haven't had to talk to anyone there and this is good because their systems work. I will continue to shop here - need a nice paddle for my Kayak :) Keep up the good work!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There have been many good service experiences at Trailhead but this was was so exemplary, I felt the need to write in. I purchased alpine touring boots back in 2021 and had yet to have them molded. I called ahead and was warmly welcomed in a year later. I had the good fortune of having Mike dedicate 1:1 time, answer all of my many questions (I have *ahem* stubborn feet) and go the extra mile to ensure the best fit for my Scarpa boots. So knowledgeable and helpful. Sincere thanks Mike and Trailhead!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed with being unable to exchange my $200 / untouched / unworn sweater for a different size or store credit. It was passed the 30 day return date , however it was a Christmas gift I didn’t receive until halfway through January, followed by weeks off due to COVID. I understand there are rules but being in management in customer service for many years , I know there are solutions that could have been offered to me. I don’t really see the benefit of me leaving unsatisfied and the sweater being sold online second hand instead of just going back to your store to make another sale off of.
I’m not blaming the staff for following the rules but in the future I will be shopping for these type of items at another store with a more lenient return policy.

They are super friendly and knowledgeable, and come off as being genuinely happy to help. I find you don't get that level of service from their competitors. Keep up the great work, Paddle Shack team!
