★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really bad experience with Decathlon Montreal’s customer service and their whole ways of handling problems. Decathlon Ottawa fixed the problems for me.
Decathlon Ottawa’s customer service was top notch. I talked to two agents, Emmanuel and Fraser. Emmanuel dissolved all the issues that I had as a customer who was frustrated with the corporate. He was patient, caring and understanding. Fraser was very informative about road bikes.
More importantly, the quality of the road bike (RC120) was beyond my expectations. I was sceptical about Micro-shift derailleurs but they work perfectly and smoothly. The build quality is incomparable to any other bikes in sub $1000 category even though this bike is priced at only $550. I’ve ridden many $1000-1500 bikes from 2007-2014 and this bike beats all of them.
Thanks a lot for your service and Product. I look forward to continuing my cycling journey with Decathlon Ottawa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite sporting goods store! I’ve been sharing with my friends about how amazing of a store this is with the variety of products and affordability. Went in tonight looking for a bike to buy in the future and associate Dave helped me pick out the perfect one for my athletic needs and within my budget. His service was the deciding factor in me coming back to buy a new bike from here and not from another sporting goods store/bike shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience with a super helpful red-headed staff member at the bike shop. I came in needing help with flat stroller tires, since my husband had just replaced them with their inner tubes a few days prior. The staff went above and beyond to help solve the issue and didn't mind my kids being the peanut gallery while he worked. I also had some other helpful staff with finding other items, including appropriate workout shoes (I didn't realize there was a difference between runners and other types for aerobics). The prices were surprisingly affordable and the store space is airy, clean, and well-organized. Bathrooms also were big enough to pull in a chariot-style stroller and very clean. Good job, Decathlon Ottawa! I'll be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The selection at this store is not bad, but it seems that they tend to carry the cheaper and lesser known brands. They have a wide selection of inventory so you can usually find what you need if you are in a rush and don’t have time to browse the city or simply don’t want to spend money on premium brands. Great for buying beginner or entry level equipment.
