Update: A technician arrived to swap my equipment after months of poor service, only he managed to end the connection completely. I was told someone would call to make an appointment for another technician, but that call never came. I am delighted to say I am no longer a patron of tough country communications. I dont reccomend anything other than basic package, there is little real difference between them. Price is quite high. Also you will get UP to the speed you pay for, do not expect reliable internet. I can only hope a new provider with better equipment will move to this area. Theres no way for me to respond to the owners message so I am editing my original. I have spoken with your technicians dozens of times and they have failed to come up with anything other than reset your router, obviously I would like to fix this. I would believe you want to fix it if there was some sort of apparent effort being made. I have one more thing to try (Thanks to technical support offered by Microsoft) If it does not work Im afraid Ill have to stop paying for your lack of service.

Very impressed with the customer service at Tough Country. My wifi quit working at my trailer on Lake Koocanusa. After trying several suggestions that they had given, it still wouldn't work. So Paul sent a tech out to the campground to resolve the issue on Friday late afternoon before a long weekend. The tech (was very polite and friendly) resolved it in a very short time and we had wifi again. Very happy with you guys. Way to go and thank you.

Amazing experience with technical service rep at Tough County. Frank worked persistently to solve our problem remotely and avoided the need to dispatch a tech for an on site service call the next day. Really appreciate the β€œcan do” and β€œfigure it out” attitude. Highly recommend Tough Country and their team. Sincerely!

Have been a Tough Country customer for 8 years and although frustrating initially, the service has improved dramatically in the past 2 years. All plans now offer unlimited data and are very good value considering the challenges of providing internet access to remote areas. We've only had one loss of service in the past several months and that was due to a power failure which was beyond their control. Customer support has been very prompt and excellent. We recently had an issue with very slow download speeds in evening hours. A technician came to our house early the next day and replaced the antenna with newer technology that immediately corrected the issue. This is the second time our antenna was upgraded at no cost so they seem to be consistently improving their equipment. We are presently very happy with our internet service and technical support.

It's been years since I became a customer of Tough Country, a company that started out small and has grown so much while providing such vastly improved service. I had to write how much I appreciate the changes they've brought in under new management. Needs and wants have been anticipated, going beyond the basics to a more reliable, robust and trustworthy internet service. Living by the Rockies, it's hard to imagine one could get high speed wireless, but we have. Upgrades are taken care of, changes are made and customers are kept informed. I highly recommend them.

Tough country was eager to service our property, even though it required extra work and infrastructure on their part, for a small number of clients. They are working toward their goal of being able to provide service to all rural properties in the area. They were quick, courteous and on time with the install. So far, the quality of the internet services we are receiving has been exceptionally better than our previous provider. Definitely recommend!

Tough country has been my service provider for many years. About 5 years ago the company invested in upgrades. Since then, the internet has had no trouble keeping up to my son’s gaming needs while simultaneously streaming my YouTube videos and background music as well as managing several smart devices. I believe my internet plan costs less than most, it is also unlimited. I needed technical support this morning, a Saturday, and the support rep was able to help me get back online. His help and directions were clear and easy to follow. Very good service, good value, good product. I recommend Tough Country to anyone in their service area.

After having our internet out for over 3 weeks with Shaw, I called into Tough Country to try and get decent service. Boy did they deliver! Within 4 days I had a technician named Alo come hook our internet up. He was super friendly and fast. I highly recommend their service! Hasn’t gone out once since installation. I’m happy to support them.
