This company gave me nothing but a headache from the very first hour of my wedding day to the last. I booked a package of DJ, photobooth and videographer with Cory Vo. At first he kept hassling me to place a deposit when I was still in the stages of asking questions and inquiring about their company. Two days before the wedding he still did NOT send me a proof of the photobooth template, I had to message him and ask him when I already had so much to do prior to the wedding. Very unprofessional and not responsible. On the wedding day, 1 out of 2 videographers decided he wasn't going to show up until noon. I PAID FOR TWO videographers to start at 8 am. He failed to mention anything to me until I called and was upset as to why only 1 videographer showed up, missing our first and most important ceremony. Cory, the DJ was did not seem like he was having fun nor energetic, and the music reflected that. During the reception and set up, my live entertainment that I hired was asking him if the sound of their microphone sounded okay, only for him kinda shrug them off with a bad attitude. The photobooth also broke down when I finally had a minute to go and take a picture with my newly husband. (Although he did stay to compensate this, it was still extremely upsetting and only added to this horrible experience ) The ONLY good thing with booking three services through Cory was my main videographer: Justin K. He was amazing, talented, so kind, funny. Cory and the rest of his team were an absolute disaster. When I told Cory I was not willing to pay in full for 2 videographers when I only received 1 and the second shooter made his own schedule and missed 1/3 of our day, Cory did not try to compensate us a single penny. He just found a new shooter for our reception, which doesn't solve the fact that we didn't get two full shooters as paid for. I'm not sure why this company charges full price for a service they did not deliver on.. My advice: book the videographer separate from total entertainment, find a different DJ, and photobooth company. I am one of the first of all my friends to get married and will ensure that future brides will be aware of my experience.

We hired Total Entertainment YYC for their DJ services for our wedding in Banff, AB. Excellent services with reasonable prices. Cory was very professional and answered emails promptly and everything turned out smoothly on that day. Would definitely recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Cory was great at answering all my questions and helped ease all our worries. We gave him a list of songs we wanted played/didn't want played and our DJ Dustin made sure that list was followed. Dustin was excellent the night of and saved the day when I left my iPod at home by accident (which all my cocktail hour music was on). Everyone raved about the music throughout the night and no one was bored during the dancing. Thank you for making our wedding spectacular and seamlessly blending Western and Bollywood music in a way that got all our guests excited. We will be recommending you to everyone!

I shared this review on the company’s Facebook page, but I feel more people check with Google so I’m posting it here as well. When I first met with Cory for my July ‘17 wedding he was great to speak to and really wanted to know all the details to make sure the day went smoothly. He made recommendations that I would have never thought of in the process. One thing I did mention was that our ceremony was outside in a green space so would he able to provide his own power? He said it wouldn’t be an issue. So we signed up, made a deposit and all was good. I had mentioned a few times about the external power source because it was very important for the ceremony. Fast forward to a month before the wedding; I again mentioned the power source and was told that it would be an extra cost (more than $100). In June it’s a little late to find some other DJ so I felt I had no choice but to pay to make sure I had music. It felt deceitful to me. Regardless, I paid the extra fee. On the day of the wedding the equipment had a failure because of the sun and the ceremony started late because of it. Not the biggest issue in itself, but it slows down the day when all your guests are waiting in the sun. At the reception all was fine up until the first dance. The DJ started playing the wrong song and we had to yell from the dance floor to switch it. We had given Cory a layout of the songs to be played at specific times so I’m not sure how that could have screwed up. Throughout the night the DJ neglected to play any more slow songs, which was upsetting because it’s our wedding and I would have liked to dance with my new husband more than once. We didn’t write anything like “please play romantic songs at the wedding” in the contract because I thought that would be common sense. That was very upsetting for a day that only happens once in your life. Overall the day was ok when it came to music (the rest of the wedding vendors were wonderful), but I would not recommend Cory and his team to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

Cory and his team were unsatisfactory in terms of deliverables for my wedding day. I had high hopes that he would be able to cater to all audiences for genres of music during our face-to-face meeting prior to the event date. Up until the last moments of the night, I had nothing but underwhelming moments with him and his team. Photo booth had software issues for almost 30+ minutes, DJ could not take request because there was "no internet" for music when he did mention it would be possible, and the lack of communication from vendor to client. Would not recommend Total Entertainment to cater to your wedding day.

Last night, Saturday March 5th/2016 , we Celebrated our Daughter Sweet sixteen. We got from Entertainment a DJ and support and even patient with all setting up of the event at China Rose Restaurant. Cory was always a hand available with our Latin Canadian Music. He accepted son special music list and never said no. Cory and his team were so easy and pleasant to work with. DJ arrived even early, and they did an excellent job keeping the crowd entertained. We highly recommend them. Thank you Total Entertainment for helping make our special date in a super unforgettable 2016 Party!!! Total Entertainment Cory Vo's studio has been the house of Sago Music Gilberto Gonzalez. We have been working on video filming and voice recording of many of Gilberto's songs. We have been getting not only the studio services, but also, Cory is teaching us a lot of tips to improve every detail. Thanks a lot. We highly recommend this studio and Cory's services.

We booked Total Entertainment for our Community Center's annual Holiday Family Dance. Cory was very responsive and easy to deal with. Details were clearly laid out and everything came together as planned. Bryson was our DJ and he did exceedingly well considering the variety of ages in attendance. The lit dance floor was a huge hit and a must for any event with a younger age group. We will definitely look at booking again for next year.

Total Entertainment recently provided DJ services for wedding and it was absolutely amazing! Our DJ, Chris, we would highly recommend to anyone. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and played whatever was requested. The staff on the day and Cory were all so easy to work with and provided superb service. We have received numerous compliments from our guests about the DJ and how great of a party our wedding was because of him. If we ever need DJ services again we know exactly where we will go!!
