Abby and Dave are very professional, very creative and most of all, warm down to earth good people. Our images are STUNNING, they captured the essence of the day which was pure joy perfectly. The quality of their work speaks for itself but when we received our images we were actually blown away! They put so much energy into their shots, trust me when I say these aren't your average wedding shots! They are anything but typical pictures, they are truly amazing! I would recommend these two again and again and think that having them do our wedding was the best decision we made in the whole process other than saying I do to each other.

We live in Australia but got married in Calgary, so were planning the wedding from overseas. We first met Abby and Dave over Skype, and clicked with them right away. Throughout the whole planning process, they were very professional and extremely easy to work with. Through discussions and simple questionnaires, they knew exactly what we were looking for, and happy to accommodate our requests. On the day of the wedding, from getting ready to the portrait shots, they both make you feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera and are very professional. Throughout the ceremony and reception, they were incredible in capturing every single moment. The pictures we received are amazing. Thank you both so much for making our weekend extra special, and photos that can help us relive it! Highly highly recommend!!
H	Heather Wilkins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abby and Dave were absolutely amazing to work with. We interviewed several photographers before choosing A+D and we're beyond happy with our choice. From the moment we sat down with them in their studio we were completely comfortable, and that never changed throughout the whole process. Our Calgary engagement photos were great (April 2014), but our Kicking Horse Mountain Resort wedding photos were stunning (March 2015). When we got the wedding shots back (way ahead of the promised delivery date) we were amazed at the moments Abby and Dave captured. It was like reliving the whole day, including things we didn't see the first time! We loved their candid approach and the way they just blended into the crowd so no one even knew they were there. Everyone we've shown the pictures to is impressed with how "real" the shots are. We are so fortunate that we'll have these photos forever to help us remember that day. The slideshow they put together is perfect, and the album Abby designed is amazing - can't wait to get the print copy. If you have the chance to use Abby and Dave to photograph any occassion, you'd be crazy not to! You definitely won't regret it!

They were recommended to us by a friend who heard great things about A+D from her coworker's sister (definitely some degrees of separation thing going on here). We ended up choosing A+D over the other photographers we were considering because we loved how they captured all the emotional moments of the wedding day - all the things you don't necessarily see day-of because everything's just too busy! They were also a real sport about our reception running overtime, and us needing to hire them for a few more hours last minute. I'm sure they were tired, but they are perpetually professional and cheerful, and always makes you feel so special. :) All my relatives were super stoked about being in a lot of the photos as well - A+D do a great job capturing people other than the couple! It's great to have tons of photos of ourselves when we're all prettied up, but it was really important to us to remember the people present as well. We had a bride+groom shoot instead of an engagement shoot. It dumped snow that day and we had to change our plans a bit, but Abby and Dave made the (very cold!) shoot really fun and the photos turned out amazing. The detail they put into every part of the planning/working process is amazing, and we really appreciate the little touches they add to make it all the more special. There are so many great photos we're still having a hard time paring down the photos for the album. In short, we would definitely recommend Abby and Dave to anyone, because we had such a wonderful time with them and their work is phenomenal!

For both sessions, they were incredibly professional, they responded to our emails promptly and answered all my silly questions and put my nerves at ease before our wedding. On the day of the wedding, they were on time and made both of us feel incredibly comfortable. Abby and Dave are both warm energies that added to our wedding day. They'll provide pose directions when you need it but will allow a moment to naturally occur. We received our photos in a very timely manner and could not be happier with the results. The online photo album is very easy to use and so was the download feature. We cannot recommend Abby and Dave enough, at the end of the day, they are lovely people that we enjoyed working with. We had a super fun engagement session with them at the U of C where they took the most AMAZING pictures. Abby and Dave surpassed our expectations and captured all the tears, love and laughter on our wedding day. Every time we open up the wedding album we are reminded of every moment of our wedding. All of their pictures are so artistically taken, natural and not overly processed. I love every single one of them! Seriously, I can't wait to have babies so that they can take pictures of them!

The moment we met them, we felt and automatic friendship with them and knew right away they were "THE" one. Dave and Abby are wonderful, good hearted people as they are talented.
