We purchased our tickets online to take the ferry to Toronto Island. Got there early morning to beat the crowd. There is two levels for everyone to get on, lot of room. The ride to the island is about 10 minute, not long at all.

Amazing and thrilling experience. I travelled in a ferry for the first time and my experience was amazing. Didn’t have to wait too long for the ferry or for the ticket. Booking was online. Plus very cheap ticket.

Best views of TO! If you don’t have a lot of time in TO but want to see some great city landscapes, a quick ferry ride is the way to go! Give you a totally different perspective of the city ?

The Ferry is literally the best part of Toronto. For $8.50 you get a return trip to the islands, and the most amazing view of the city. There are 3 different ferry routes. One going to Ward's Island, the residential island. One going to Center Island, the tourist island where you'll also find Centerville amusement park + zoo. And one going to Hanlan's point, the nude beach. There are many other islands you can walk to in between. The crew are great, one time I got stranded on the island with my kayak and they returned me home to the mainland, kayak and all. The ships are safe, they won't sink. Enjoy your cruise on a budget!

It was a sunny day, I wanted to go out for a picnic in sun. We decided to go to Toronto island. We booked our ferry online ($8 per head) on Saturday. it was walk in for online tickets no waiting in a long queue. We reached early so we had to wait for friends, there’s a nice park with a view to wait. The entire journey was smooth. I really enjoyed my travel from Toronto to centre island.

One of the unique place in Toronto. Whole island is park. Shoreline boardwalk guve unique view. Algonquin island has skyline Vista. And ward's island stuck in 1920s. Its one of the largest wildlife animal activities can be found I Toronto besides Rouge Valley park.

I only had a few hours to spend in Toronto and I chose to take a ferry ride. This time of the year they operate ward’s line only. The skyline from the ferry is amazing. In the island, there are restrooms not far from the dock. There is also an art centre at Gibraltar point that you can check out. I highly recommend this experience.

Okay.. first of all.. amazing experience. The ferry was cheap and really big. It was around $18 per person so not bad. But the skyline view from the island is mesmerizing. I suggest going at night because you can see the lights and its amazing. Dress appropriately because it will be cold especially near water at night. But the night view is worth the sacrifices. Also make sure you check the ferry schedule because its every hour from and to the city. Take the tickets online and have it ready in your phone or take a printout. Masks are necessary inside the ferry. I would recommend trying this at least once.
