S	Sydney Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry comes every half hour or so, nice little half hour cruise to the other side. Had a bite to eat at the restaurant right before the ferry, must try! Kind staff , organized ferry loading and unloading!
S	Scott & Alison Paulin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This afternoon I boarded the ferry in Crawford Bay on a motorcycle. I live in Victoria and motorcycles are always waived forward. There were no employees on shore, so as I pulled up, I went into the line that was boarding and was waived to the motorcycle parking behind 2 other bikes. A fellow passenger told me that motorcycles no longer go to the front of the line on the interior ferries. I apologized and went on my way. At no time did a BC Ferries employee say a single word to me. As we landed and vehicles started to disembark, the other motorcycles were waived forward and the BC Ferries employee held up his hand for us to stop. All other vehicles were unloaded and we stayed put, then he just walked away. He did not say a word, but "punished," us for going to the front of the line. I made an error, I did not know the rules. But instead of talking to me and noting the error, the smug employee just decided to teach us a lesson. If it wasn't for the other passenger, I would have been oblivious to the different rules on inland ferries. Consistency is always good and employee communication is also a good thing. Some customer service training might be in order for the crew of the Kootenay Ferry!

Traffic attendance did a great job in making sure all the cars were lined up and boarded the ferry in the proper order. The trip was smooth and fast and professional and free! Couldn't be happier :-) thank you so much!!
