An awesome place for beigners... Not very deep water.. few wetlands.. and nice wildlife around the wetlands... Loved my first kayaking... In reasonable price

Hard to believe you can get the "up north" canoeing experience in the middle of the city. Best of all is that this location is a mere 5 minute walk away from the Old Mill subway station. Take the stairs off Bloor Street and the location is nearly at the bottom. Make sure you check out the historic plaque remembering Hurricane Hazel, that swept through Toronto killing 81 people. Then, admire the dramatic First Nations art murals under the bridge. Staff was friendly here. It's a super safe experience on a very calm river. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed how easy it was to make a booking, show up, and paddle the lake. Staff were very helpful and so nice! The river was Fairly busy with other canoes/kayakers, and private boats, but still lots of wildlife

Great place to go canoe or Kayak! Lots of different options and great easy location. And honestly the staff is amazing, they're all so polite and a bunch of hardworking guys/gals. Would definitely recommend if you want a nature adventure in the city. (It does get quite busy on weekend afternoons so if you're new at this stuff, go at a less busy time).

Tried kayaking for the first time today. It was an amazing experience, and I would like to do it again for sure. For the people who never tried this before, it's not that hard. I felt out of balance for the first minute but get used to it quickly. The staff is really helpful and they made the whole process more enjoyable.

Really calm waters. Very Shallow. The kayaks are sturdy. Had so much fun . 2 hours is more than enough time to get to the end and back. If you have never kayaked before, then watch a short video to help you maneuver and not waste time figuring it out. Must do. such friendly staff too.

Good place to paddle in Toronto. I took a single kayak for Comedy on the River and it was nice. The comedy was okay. Felt a bit expensive for what I got and if I were you I’d opt for the longer 2 hour tour to really explore the Humber River. The kayak was comfortable and it was good for beginners of all fitness levels; I got a workout from it at least. People were also helpful to take my kayak for me. Overall, a pretty nice relaxing experience!

We did the 2-hour guided tour with a lesson. The lesson is mostly basic tips and safety practices. Don't go expecting anything in-depth, but if it's your first time in a kayak it's definitely helpful. The staff were nice and helpful. The kayak was comfortable as far as comfort can be measured for a kayak. While we were offered a guided tour, we were free to explore on our own. The price seemed reasonable to me, they provided all the gear. I'll definitely be going again!
