★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time canoeing and kayaking with friends. Excellent service, would go again. Just note the canoes are on the island and they ferry you over. Kayaks launch frkm the Harbourfront. So, if you have a mixed group like we did, the kayakers have to kayak accross to meet anyone in a canoe, since the canoes have to stay near the islands.

Crews working are very friendly and helpful with the costs of rentals online with others local along the waterfront.
Absolutely a must do for fantastic summer enjoyment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great! Enjoyed a 2hour paddle out to toronto island and back with some toodling around quiet waterways within the island along the way. Rental not for a complete beginner, even on a pretty quiet day there were constant random swells in the open water. Beginners should take a lesson. If paddling to island stick close to the route on the west side of the harbour, which avoids the ferry traffic, and is a bit smoother.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love renting from this place. Easy reservations online, friendly staff, good equipment, not too expensive. Boating in the Toronto harbour is stunning. Seeing the city scape is so cool. You can boat in/out of the island. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harbourfront Canoe & Kayak Centre is an example of a great customer focused business. The organization's focus on creating a wonderful experience, interactions and being accommodating is absolutely fantastic!
The are flexible regarding changes, when possible or experiencing problems. If a refund is in order, they do it immediately, no playing games... just straight up focused on the customer; really great stuff!
Great team of people working there. So many positive things that I could write much more. This business is a gem and those that know and use it will be always glad they did and glad for it's existence and top level customer experience and service.
If you are reading reviews for reassurance in regards to renting a kayak or canoe with them, go forth and do business with them, you will be quite glad that you made the choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such a great experience for my first time on a tandem kayak! For those of you wondering, there is a green parking near the area which I believe is $30 for an all day parking. Ideal if you’re going to grab a bite after. Extremely friendly staff, and the view from the water is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rent kayak for 2h for 60$ which was kinda reasonable. The View was so good and if it is your first it is really easy to learn how to use paddle. The staff was kinda tired and they didn’t want to talk but there was one guy who really helped us at the end.
