They did the security at the Riverfest Elora when I arrived I was asked to empty my purse (which I did) during that time I heard swearing from two of there Security Guards not impressed. So during the day I went over to the beer tent to purchase beer for me and bf ... Two guards at the location they were very professional he stood out from the security was a gentleman dressed all in black, black dress pants black polo shirt and it read a different name on his shirt. What got me pissed was around 10:10 pm I decided in 20 min they will close down the beer tent let's go for another drink why not. We get there we are the ones to be served when the volunteers decided it's 10:30 pm which is fine we need to respect the rules , what happened next shocked me a patrons spat at the gentleman in black and said and I quote "you immigrants should leave this country and you better serve me or else" What the gentleman who I believe is a sub contractor for Ton Gar Security decided to call his security guard and they both tried to calm down the situation. During this time the gentleman in black called for extra security to attend they got there at exactly 10:36 pm 5 min later. Two people showed up and yelled at them both in front of everyone I found out later one of them is the park security organizer and his name was Todd and the other one was the the guy in charge of the event and he was from Ton Gar Security. They both told the gentleman I went close to hear "you get paid to be insulted and spat at" and both of them said your crew is done. I tried to say something what I had seen and both Todd and the other gentleman told me to mind my own business the guy dressed in black told them hey respect the lady !!! I was told once again leave or we will have you charged charged for what ? I was in shock they didn't do nothing wrong and they were done what type of security company is this when you ask for backup don't even protect you. Stay away from this company !!!!

I have used Tone-Gar on numerous occasions for events. We also hold a standing contract for security services. In both arenas I have found the guards to be very well trained and high caliber. I have also had exclusively positive interactions with the management and customer service staff. I will continue to use and would recommend Tone-Gar's services without hesitation.

This company is the most disorganized and unprofessional group of people I've ever dealt with. They gave me a parking ticket for parking on my own property after I've been living there for 6 months. When I received the ticket I called the city that directed me to these people to get it cancelled. Originally I had registered my vehicle with this company back in August 2018 with all my details. I received a couple follow up calls from the employees here, basically telling me if we find out your registered than we will cancel it. Within the same day they found out I was registered (Obviously) and they told me I'd have to drive to their headquarters and drop off the ticket between the hours of 10-6. A couple things; their HQ is a 20 minute drive 1 way from my house and my work, so because of their mistake I need to now take an hr out of my day while I work 9-5 to deliver you the ticket that I never should have got. There was never any apology, or any acknowledgement from this company that they messed up. When I arrived to drop off the ticket I was greeted by an extremely rude employee. I asked what the procedure was after I give you the ticket...i.e. how will I know this is done, as I have no confidence in this company or people. I requested that the employee give me a quick call to confirm that they've completed it. He was extremely rude and loud stating "We're not going to call" multiple times. Then he started going on about that he called me yesterday twice about the ticket. I pulled out my phone and went to my missed calls and called him out on his lie. There was never any call. This company is a joke and needs to take responsibility when they make a mistake.

The worst security company I have EVER encountered. They might look look great but I have never seen a company so horrible to people. I would give this company a 0 if it were not for only 2 people that did their job and the fact that I can't. These security guards are munipulative and will not let you know their security numbers, which we are allowed to have. After pushing me out the door which in my opinion is too much force since I did not do anything.. they refused to let me take a picture of their badge numbers for reference and decided since my friend stood up for me that 4 of them would tackle him to the ground even though he was not being a threat. I would never hire these people as I have never met any people more rude and people who think they are above the law.

Ediz is the worst operation manager I've ever seen. I went for a security guard interview. He told me that everything is great and he will proceed to the hiring process after I send him the required documents. I did sent him what he asked for. A week later, he responded saying that "I'm not the right fit for this position." Unbelievable !!!!!!!

This company is very professional. The operations team will always work to make sure your needs are being met. They are not like most franchise security companies because they are privately owned. They care about their clients, their employees and their contracts and will work as hard as they can to be a professional security provider. I highly recommend Tone-Gar if you are considering bringing in Security to your business or are opening a bid on renewing contracts. Tone-Gar takes the time to carefully screen individual qualifications before hiring them - so you know you are going to have good quality guards on your site. If you are looking for a job in Security, this company is the most ethical choice. While every Security company has their quirks, Tone-Gar is very professionally managed. There is no unfair treatment of employees and they value their staff. You won't find this with most Security companies in the area.

This is honestly one of the worst security companies ever. Only company worse then Tone-Gar is TNT. This place is literally a joke, my Grandma could literally do a better job at running a company. I don't know how they are even still in business. They can barely provide a very simple bare minimum level of service. Let alone the level of service they say they can provide, which they can't. Management could not tell you the truth if they had to. Literally one of the worst run companies I have ever seen.

It has been more than just a work place. The staff is very professional and their GM Ediz, is one of the finest guys you will ever meet. Always there to help you out. Great place to work at! Cheers!
