★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cycled over today to get information about sea kayaking for our group (of adults). Was with my wife and two young children when we stopped in so went opposite for a quick snack for the kids and coffee for us. Met the owner but he was so rude. Just kept demanding that we move the bicycle parked outside his shop. Tried a few times to get any help or advice or even ask where he wanted us to move our bikes to that would work for him. Couldn’t get anything useful - only rude words out of him. Just so dismissive despite us trying a few times to ask him for advice and help. Was weird- a few other people witnessed and commented on how rude he was being. In the end we just left and have vowed never to come back. Won’t be using his company and would strongly advise going elsewhere to avoid being treated like dirt the way we were today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team here is amazing! Everyone is so warm and welcoming and they make customers feel like old friends. I did the Meares Island tour with them and loved it. Our guide, Andy, was very knowledgeable and I learned all kinds of neat facts about the area from him. He was also very enthusiastic and his love for the area and his job clearly showed. I wuoldn't hesitate to come back to Tofino Sea Kayaking again if I was in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy online booking. Beautiful and convenient location with a coffee shop. John the manager has an infectious positive energy. Laurence our kayak guide was knowledgeable and lovely. All gear provided (rain coat, rain pants, rain boots, band for glasses, waterproof cases for phones, pfd). I rarely get wet when I kayak in lakes and rivers, but I recommend the rain boots and rain pants for a comfortable and dry outing. They're very conscientious of everyone's skill level so beginners don't have anything to worry about as the guide goes over technique and waits for everyone. I'd book with them again if I had more time ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the 6hr West Coaster (newly revamped route!) on a drizzly day with Neil as our guide. The entire process from booking online, checking in, grabbing our gear, etc. etc. was like a well-oiled machine. All the staff involved from start to finish were very friendly and enthusiastic. Neil is an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge about the local fauna, flora, and indigenous history of the area. He knew the area well and enabled us to have an awesome and safe paddle with the changing tides and swell because of his experience. Even with the rain and a bit of chill we had an amazing time and were able to see so much (sea cave, porpoises, bald eagles, harbour seals, sea otter, moon snails, crabs and other tidal critters, to name a few). The husband was so thrilled with the experience that he wanted to book again the next day, but our muscles begged to differ. Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highlight of our trip to Tofino! Our guide Andy was so knowledgeable about the area and it’s history, Andy made the trip so special with his positive attitude, jokes, and wisdom of Tofino and the old growth forest. We did the 4 hour trip to Meares island! Highly recommend this tour or a longer one. We aren’t kayakers but Andy explained all we needed to know about kayaking to make us feel safe and confident!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was fantastic. I highly recommend trying them out. The guide was amazing both on knowledge of the wildlife and history of the people on the islands. It was also great that we paused a few times to give you a break and tell you about the region. The guide picked up a few things like jelly fish (in a jar) and giant starfish to show us and they were educated on the species.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our tour guide, Andy, was great. He was knowledgeable and made sure everyone was safe. We saw some seals, mushrooms, bald eagles, and got a history of Tofino. We got a new appreciation of the cedar trees too. Glad we went!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tofino Sea Kayaking Tours was terrific. Booking and communication was easy and straightforward. Our guide Paul was a great guide, giving us interesting facts about the local area and animals. He was also very professional, making sure we were safe the whole time and paddling close together as a group across channels. Will definitely come back again!
