Decided on a whim to pop into Tofino brewing.
What a fantastic experience.
The beers were very tasty. Can highly recommend the Kelp stout and Tuff session ale.
Jordan the server was fantastic and kept us well supplied with beer while telling us about his experiences in Tofino and other travel and surf stories.
Sat at the bar to engage in some conversation with the staff.
Reminiscent of an English style bar with good beer, laughs and great characters.
Highly recommend.

Little light on the food front, but you're there for the beer and it never disappoints. Knowledgeable staff, cold beer, and great atmosphere... What else could you ask for?

We were wondering where the cool kids hangout, this is clearly it, A1 brewery and bar together, serve is great, beer is even better I would make a trip just to come back to this place. I definitely recommend their “Meridale Coder”
Keep it up, Tofino brewery, rockstars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a craft beer lover you won't be disappointed. I personally thoroughly enjoyed the blonde, the lager, and the pilsner. I tasted the sours as well and thought they were decent but not quite as good as the former. They have TONS of seating, which is great. We enjoyed hanging out upstairs and playing board games.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really wonderful staff. They’ve been so helpful every time I’ve visited with friends. Flights are the way to go if you’re showing off the joint. Love the aesthetic and merch design. Mandatory stop after the Cox Bay lookout mud hike. Can’t wait to come back again in the fall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really cool place to come for my husband (who is a beer drinker) but not many non alcoholic options anymore. They used to have kombucha on tap but I guess that had to stop. My husband really enjoyed his flute of beers and picked some of the kelp and ethereal to take home! Not many snack options, come here for beer and nothing else!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local brewery with fantastic staff pouring beers. Enjoyed a couple of flights to taste an array of their 15 beers on tap. There are snacks available as well as a food truck in the parking lot if you need something a little more substantial.
