However, the Tow driver was very friendly and did not take my wallet to the cleaners. All I needed was a quick boost from a portable battery pack, which costs much less than a tow. Overall a positive experience to a stressful situation

My car broke down in the middle of nowhere on my way home from vacation. My girlfriend and I tried calling many repair shops, but only one would be able to see us and was over an hour and a half drive away. I called many towing companies, but it was David at Long Beach Towing who was nice enough to come pick my car up and get us to the shop even though he was about to go on vacation with his family. Along the ride, we struck up a friendly conversation and I explained what happened in my car - the engine started making a noise like a chain saw before I pulled over. David immediately pulled over, grabbed some tools, and fixed my car on the spot — unbelievable! Because of this, not only was I able to avoid unnecessary repair fees - we were able to make it back in time for our ferry with 5 minutes to spare! Thanks David for saving our trip!

We’d pulled into the CO-OP to borrow a tire gauge and I asked if there was a tire place in town. As luck would have it a tow truck was right outside already helping someone else. Once done, Clare came to help us. Her easy-going and self-effacing nature were great! Pretty soon my girlfriend and I were laughing with her, and she helped make what could have been a stressful situation into just another story on our journey. I hope I never have car trouble in Tofino again but, if I do, I know who I’m calling.

We found out about this towing company through a guy from Ucluelet and he was able to come and get us out of this bad situation. He was kind and efficient and changed our tire quickly in less than 15minutes and we are grateful. The price was decent and was worth it. Highly recommended. * Based on Owner's Reply* I arranged to get the towing company to come to us. No one from the SHOP told me to contact or offer the towing service as an alternative to changing out our flat tire. This deserves the 5 star rating hands down because at the end of the day, this tow service was the one that ended up saving us not the SHOP. This would have been a different story if JESS from the SHOP mentioned about this Towing service as an alternative. We had to find out about it through a Tow Guy in Ucluelet. We are not locals and of course are very understanding about everyone's time. But also you have to see it from our point of view the cost of staying another day in your city because we could not find anyone to switch our spare is very frustrating. We have a long days drive to get home and safety is our priority. Again, I am grateful for the towing service and the guy that helped us. Not so much from the SHOP.
H	Heather on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a trip to Tofino this past summer, my car ran over a screw in the middle of the night. The next evening, almost 24 hours after having ran over the screw, my tire was almost completely flat. After calling BCAA, we were put in contact with Long Beach Towing, and a very professional woman came and helped temporarily patch up the hole and gave great advice on future steps. It's important to note that she arrived within 30 minutes of being called by BCAA, and it was a Saturday evening around 7PM. Luckily, we were able to make the five-hour drive home without any problems, and then I took my car to Kal Tire where they were able to patch the tire for only $40. Overall, I had a great experience with Long Beach Towing and would highly recommend.
