The Road to Real Estate:

Originally from small town Saskatchewan, I came to Alberta in 1996 after first skipping over to Ontario following high school to complete three bachelor degrees at Queen’s and UWO. Having vacationed in Calgary as a kid every year, I knew I always wanted to live there, and did so from 1996 to 2000. I soon realized the small town atmosphere of Okotoks was where I wanted to ultimately land and raise a family, and I have loved living in Okotoks ever since. I can often be found enjoying the pathway system between Drake Landing and Air Ranch with my two dogs, Mister and Moo.

Prior to a career in real estate, my business experiences have been as a Pharmaceutical Rep and Medical Clinic Manager. I have also explored the arts and became an ACTRA actor in 2010 which led to fun projects and hosting two television shows, one a renovation show to benefit women in need and the other a live game show on CMT. Although those days are over now, the skills and techniques I learned in the TV industry have benefitted my clients when I am marketing their properties.

In 2014, I finally pursued a career in real estate once I felt my kids were old enough to have a mom busy most evenings and weekends! My artsy interests in design, floorplans and renovations melds well with my science background that enjoys the legal contractual legal apects of transactions. Both of these, combined with my passion to help people live their best life, makes my job as a realtor extremely fulfilling and engaging.
