★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m very fond of most of the art supply stores in the Calgary area, but this one is tops. While not as large as some of the stores in Calgary, Paintworks has all the basics and then some. Christine is extremely knowledgeable, always helpful, and enthusiastic about her customers’ projects. She’s helped me sort out a number of technical challenges, and regularly lets me experiment with studio materials before making a decision on what to buy. Paintworks is always my first stop for supplies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so amazing! My kid absolutely loves the weekly class, both the owner and her daughter are so kind and patient. I am blown away by the art my kid brings home- each week they are so excited to go back. They even display the art in the window for the week which makes the kids feel so special. Worth every penny!
